Persona 5 |OT2| Someone must have been helping you go to bed early. Talk!

Isn't it implied that Yu Narukami is actually from the big city and he was only temporarily visiting Inaba because his parents were working abroad?

It would have been totally cool reference to accidently bump into him while going to ride a train at Shibuya terminal. Even a 4 second cameo like that would have been nice.

Then again there isn't any examples in the history of Persona games of one protagonist showing up in another mainline title.

Well Persona 3 protagonist could been a dream match guest character in P4A, however he wasn't due to obvious story reasons.

But no thank you. Save the cheesy cameos for the spinoff games.

So having beat P5 and loving the game, I still firmly believe that P6 should go back to telling stories about adults with jobs ala P2:EP, enough with high school setting. Shake up the formula while retaining some kind of social link element, and continue with the handcrafted dungeons, maybe this time bit smaller and less repeated puzzles.

Hey - when an enemy keeps casting a "magic wall" over and over and over again - I can't attack the enemy at all. Is there any way to break this?

I'm putting off most of my confidants to boost up my social stats. That seems a good priority so I can use NG+ to get the platinum.

that was my plan.

though.... a number of the confidants give you social stats.

cast a weak spell and take the hit?
even better if you have a persona that nul/absorbs their own element do it.

ah thus why I said or so.

but looking it up she was 15 in persona 4 (not 16 she was 16 in dancing), so the 5 year difference fits.

she was apparently born June 1, 1995 :p

Ah weird, I remember her telling Kanji that's she's gonna be 16 soon when he says they're the same age in Golden.

Only with the makara break skill or by attacking her with magic once. Easiest way to deal with it is using an elemental atack to which you're immune to.

Eternal Punishment was a sequel to Innocent Sin, and is the only game in entire series that doesn't directly correlate to a high school setting much like how Persona 1, Persona 2: IS have one.

It was the exception, not the norm.

Still the social element works in the in the context of a school time setting because of the time restrictions of needing to go to school. I'm not entirely sure how a adult setting with jobs would work in the same fashion due to the flexible nature of the Japanese school setting with it's various clubs and events to create various events.

School life allows a bit more freedoms with the social link mechanics in this regard, at least more so than a typical 9 to 5 working man environment would imply.

What does it mean if an enemy shadow disappears? I was hiding along a wall and an enemy came close, the "ambush" option appeared and the enemy instantly disappeared into a red puff... Is he hiding to ambush me? Did he leave the game somehow?

Also, do complete king small tasks remain complete if you return to the save room? For example would activity the swinging axes in Kamoshidas Palace, and spawning the guard caption, still be active if I went back to the save room and then re-entered? Or do I have to activate that event again?

They only disappear out of mercy for you I think, I've noticed that sometimes I started a fight when another shadow was relatively close, and when I was done it'd disappear and go back to its starting point to give me some breathing space.

Only enemies you've beaten "reactivate" upon visiting safe rooms, everything else is saved.

THREE 👏 MOUSE 👏 MAZES 👏 WAS 👏 ENOUGH 👏

My ad-mice would be to try to enjoy them!

well to be fair it would depend on when the scene takes place. with that birth year and the games setting she would start 15 and turn 16 before persona 4 was over.

Mercy for me? Or mercy from me? Strange, I had just destroyed an enemy and I had this one about to ambush. Apparently they can't see me at all if I'm hidden, even in plain sight.

So I can beat one guard captain (in gold), go back and save, and then go back out and beat the second without having to face the first?

yeah, they really enjoy beating you over the head with the dungeon gimmicks sometimes, lol.

yeah... while I have enjoyed the game quite a bit, dungeon design clearly needs more work as most of the dungeons could have been a lot more fun if they were 20-40% shorter.

I mean I love that they actually have designed dungeons... but man some of them drug on.

did some quality of life speed up points, cut down on the redundancy of some dungeons and you could have kept in shogi girl as a party member and keep the game the same average length even with adding an extra dungeon for her.

The MVP Boss Line-up for me was Ryuji for Matarukaja action + Charge + Swift Strike, Haru for Tetra/Makarakarns + Severe Gun attacks, Makoto for Mediarahan and Marakukaja, MC for Debilitate + Concentrate Megidolaon / Severe Elementals (with my girl Alice).

A little confused, but I just secured the route to the second palace's treasure before doing anything else within my time limit. I have to send the calling card and I have so many days left.

I feel like I can't
hang out
with anyone else right now, is this normal? At least
Takemi's
there for me.

I love Hifumi as much as the next guy, but her ship has sailed.

Adding her to Persona 5 remake would be next to impossible without serious rewriting. The game is incredibly busy, and there's nowhere to slot her.

12/24 spoilers

I was sooooo close to a Safe Room but an Odin managed to kill me, so I said "eff that!" and fused a Yoshitsune lol Palace has been way more fun since then.
Anyways, I think I'm just going to face the final boss or something? I'm right next to the Mysterious Shrine. Is level 69 good to tackle it?

Oh, I Wasn't trying to imply that she should be added in a remake or anything. I was more just nitpicking on a good game.

Had they aimed for making the pacing better in general they could have kept her without cutting her because the game was to long (though I imagine there were far more reasons beyond that)

While I love how stylish persona 5 is, I still would have vastly prefered a lot of things being trimmed down.

even beyond that... do we really need to have a pop up telling us that someone scanned the floor in momentoes each time it happens or the cat telling us that reading was a good use of our time ect?

just some things I would like to see changed in p6. I mean it wasn't bad enough to make me feel like I am being forced to stretch out the game but it just would be nice if everything was a bit faster as that way they could put more into it without the full gameplay time being stretched as long as it is.

I just realized my MC and Mishima share the same first name. Kill me.

so you named your person Yuuki eh? at least you didn't name him Haru like I did :p

Question about reaper
flu season -
After escaping can I immediately teenage to get de spair eventually? Or do I need to leave the floor and come back?

Due to some save issues I've been replaying Palace 7 and I gotta say Futaba's voice acting/performance is probably my favorite of the main cast. It's very quirky and actually funny. You think a character like her might be cringy or something but she really works.

If you have vanish balls or Star at rank 10 just escape. It respawns in front of you and you retry until it works.

Have I run into a glitch? I'm at Palace one where you have to kill the guard captains to get two keys, I got the first key, but I have killed everyone in the room twice (all yellow and red) and still no second key. Wtf.

I don't know if you are talking about the english of japanese but I like it in english.
she does a great job of being adorkable (one of my favorite female character types :p)

in english Erica Lindbeck voices her and she hasn't done a ton of voice work in general.
It will be fun rewatching anohana when it comes out in english with her voicing Naruko 'Anaru' Anjou

Y'all weren't fooling around with the length of this seventh palace, sheesh. I got two of five objectives done and just decided to go to bed. I feel like three instead of five would have been much more suitable.

Down a floor? As in down the stairs or into another room/area? There is a small staircase in the same big room, I went down and cleared it as well. All in all I've killed 3 gold enemies.

hmmmm.

just to make sure... you are talking about the first palace correct?

if so when you left the room with the statue that you need two keys for then first room you should have had some enemies and killing them should have netted you the first key.

going down a floor would lead to an area with 3 enemies that the cat freaks out about and says he bets you can figure it out implying you should use thief sense to look at them.
If not, I don't think I can help. I'm 80 hours later on my own playthrough and half heartedly watching my wife play for 100 hours so the early game is a bit fuzzy at this point.

Sounds about right, but the cat didn't freak out. It's the big room filled with statues of girls asses, two treasure chests, and the moving staircase that leads up to the scythes that block the bridge. The big room has an upper and lower level, but they aren't separated by a door, just a smallish staircase.

I left the room and went to try the single key, didn't work, when I re-entered the enemies had respawned so I killed them again.. No second key.

I guess I can leave the room, save, and then try again?

Soon I just finished up the 4th Palace, did anyone else think:
The who adults killed Futabas mom and the blame was placed on her was kind of a lame reveal? I know it plays with the whole shitty adults screwed you over theme but felt like they could've incorporated it wrote it better.
Definitely felt like it was the weakest awakening so far.

Once you reach the treasure (or if you're within a week from the deadline) you can't do party member SLs until you send the card and beat the boss. No, it doesn't tell you this anywhere, lol.
