I'm not disputing that. My question is, why does he keep coming up in "potential" DLC lists. I love the character, but he's far from likely.

The Xbox version is something below 1080 judging by the Xbox beta. Looked similar to MKX which was a sightly odd resolution if I recall.

Now that I think about it we'd probably get Rorschach instead of Hellboy. I'm sad now. I like Rorschach as a character, but I don't want to see him outside of the comic.

I just threw him in because he's stuck in my head and I couldn't think of any third villain besides King Shark that seemed possible.

So does anyone else think that Doctor Manhattan may be one of the nine DLC characters? His inclusion would make sense with his growing prominence in the Rebirth series and, depending on the release schedule, tie into his full reveal?

Likely not going to happen, but I thought I'd just throw that one out there.

Sounds sorta lame. I'm not familiar with this show, but it's gonna be some MKX pros just doing first to 10. Also they don't have the game early so they won't know how to play and do flashy shit. I like that they don't have the game early because it pisses me off that pros always get early access to games over the entire life span of a game, but this event seems pointless if they're gonna be playing just like anyone else on release day. Guess I'll check it out while I'm at work that day.

For the hype of course.

the pro players picked up the IN2 beta in hours and was doing high level combos and gameplay. The real game wont be any different.

I think they'd look great with the updated graphics engine/modeling that was done with this sequel.

The roster is huge and I really love KOF, so I keep thinking how cool it would be to have a 3v3 mode.

Someone in that Reddit thread mentioned that they're hoping for a 2v2 mode as DLC. I'd be content with that.

It then occurred to me that MK9 had 2v2 so I'm thinking this could likely happen. I mean, they gotta compete with MvC∞ after all, right?

Sounds like it could be an announcement of the Guild thing. It would make sense to do it somewhere like Reddit if they're pushing the community angle.

I feel like it should, but I felt that way about the rerelease of UMvC3 and that didn't.

I haven't read that it does anywhere (if it in fact does).

Yeah googlefu nets me nothing. I mean MKX does, so this should too, but...you never know. No way I'd get a new stick anyway if it doesn't, and I'll have to get bopped on pad.

Heck to be honest if it doesn't have it I'm out. My pad execution is butt cheeks, and I don't want to get any adapters, etc. I should check their twitter.

It is strange, maybe we'll have a trailer in the morning?! I really hope so. We're at the two week mark now until launch, they'll probably put out more info as much as they can to get those last minute Ultimate Edition pre-orders.

Boon is asking on Twitter if veteran fighters should return as DLC, so clearly the option is on the table, but maybe not til season 2
