ELEAGUE Street Fighter V Invitational hosted by TBS

Has Eleague ever mentioned how the 250k is going to be distributed? I can't find that info anywhere and was wondering if anybody knew for sure whether that info has been released or not. It'll be interesting to know how much these guys earn or lose with each win or lost in the final event.

They were talking about it a lot today on the tbs broadcast. First place gets 150k.

Dang, that's pretty top heavy. Even more so than what I'd like to see and I prefer payouts to be a little top heavy. I kind of assumed they were going for a top 8 pay out. But maybe it's a top 3 payout with 2nd getting something like 60-75k and 3rd getting 25-40k. That would leave so little room for error since only a few guys are getting paid.

I'm pretty sure all top 8 gets paid out. There was an image of the payouts during the stream today but I don't recall exactly what the breakdown was.

The payout goes all the way to 24th place. The bottom gets $500 (Like 16th place to 24th). First is 150,000 and second drops to 40,000.

This is just from memory so obviously could be wrong. I know first and last is correct. Not sure about the number of places that get 500 though, but I'm pretty sure it stops at 24th place.

4th - $12K
5th-6th - $5K

All the Europeans not only got stuck in the same pool but also ended up fighting each other on their first rounds.

I wish you could buy access to the real stream for like $3 a pop or something. The internet one that runs while the show airs on TBS is pretty bad. Like excessively bad considering they aren't even selling episodes so it's not like the goal is to make it so bad you buy it.

Looks like we're going to get Knuckledu vs. Xiao Hai, and since Knuckledu owns Xiao Hai's soul, this is pretty free for him.

Xiao Hai reminds me of Ryan Hart where you could rightfully talk him up to someone and then you watch a tournament and he gets bodied crazy like and you'd have to be like no no, he's actually really good tho.

Xiao Hai is obviously talented but imo has a lot of no no, he's actually really good tho performances.

They want you to buy a cable package. Then they get your money monthly in a contract.

Ok, it bothers me when people call Nuckle Du the world champion. Traditionally, EVO is the world championship. Du is the Capcom Cup champion.

CC is the culmination of all those tournaments including EVO. And Infiltration won EVO last year. No way he deserves to be called World Champion when he's getting stomped by mid-tier players.

Du is the champ. It is known.

Log in with your PSN login. Then go to the "Quests" tab on the bottom of the chat window. There's 5 total worth 1K apiece: Vote in the Poll, Retweet a Tweet, Share a Video on Facebook, Visit the Meme Site, and Watch for 1 Hour.

I just leave the stream up and on mute and get the 1 hour one. And it rolls across the 6 PM and 10 PM show so if you only get 40 minutes right now you can make up 20 later.
