Download went smoothly, game seems to run fine here. I did have to 'rebuy' the multiplayer starter pack in the in-game store, but that might be by design.

I was willing to buy skill unlocks to support this game, but at $5 a school and only one school available at a time I'm thinking I won't. I'd pay money for everything, but I don't want to just have Optical skills to play around with right now.

Other people have mentioned this, but from the Starter Pack you should be able to select the actual game itself.

If you go into the store page for the multiplayer pack you should be able to get a link to the main game page. That's how I got it earlier.

Although that didn't do me much good, as the download just doesn't seem to want to happen.

Please play single player if this is your first time with the game, the tutorial missions are helpful. The game can be rather daunting if you don't understand the things it expects you to know.

It's literally an action card game so learning the rules is important

Fully intend too :) Never got to play this back in the day so really looking forward to it. With this and The Surge I'll be set for a while for games to play when I get a chance.

That was fun for 5 minutes to bask in some nostalgia. Don't think the game has aged well so I'm just not going to continue and ruin some of my fondest memories of OG Xbox.

My Xbox is running like shit since I started the download. Menus are slow, YouTube won't load, and theres stuttering music in a game. I have fast internet and other devices are having no issue on my network.

Playing on X1. Only got one multiplayer match. Tried again and it says no matches going. Hmm...

edit: Ok I found more but I wanna use my arsenal lol!

Yup, the campaign is pretty fun though so it's definitely worth a play through.

Still downloading on my PC but I tried it on Xbox and I'm surprised at how well the visuals hold up at 1080p. The environments are busy enough that I'm not constantly distracted by how sparse everything is.

For anyone curious, PC graphics options are very limited indeed. There is no arbitrary resolution support, it's just "Best", which seems to set the resolution to the max resolution of your monitor in windowed or fullscreen mode. The full screen mode does not seem to be completely fullscreen either, as I still see the border of the game window on my end, it stops at just above my taskbar and I can see minimize and close game options like other Windows 10 games. The other option is Original, which basically sets it to 480p output like the OG Xbox version.

The only other graphical options are Glow and Shadow options, which you can toggle on and off. That's all.

Framerate is locked to 30fps as mentioned before.

It still looks much better and cleaner when using the higher res mode compared to original.

Man, that opening cutscene looks so good now. Its 480p origins remain obvious, but it's still a massive upgrade over what the released version looked like.

It's obviously an Xbox game, but it still looks quite nice.

I'm not sure why you're having an issue, but I am running it completely fullscreen, no start menu or anything.

I wanted to see if there were any other graphics options that could be modified. I think I found the config file in the WindowsApps folder(Microsoft.MSEsper.... Assets > Data > Setup > Configdata.dat), however, I lack the knowledge to make any sense of it.

Played through the first chapter. Miss this. I'm getting some performance problems here and there though (on PC). Not sure if it's the game, or me having too much shit open though. Doesn't seem to be consistent with anything I'm specifically doing in game.

Great... well for some reason around 50%, the "Installation Stopped" and when I went to install it again, it's starting all over at 0%. This is not a good day. :(

not really a complaint but I notice Phantom Dust is just like all the other OXbox ports in that it doesn't have the bloom effect of the Xbox version, just like Halo PC, etc. Guess it's just hard to translate that effect.

Is your clock/date correct? Are you running the latest version of Windows? Are you running the latest version of the store?
