RIP Sir Roger Moore

The first Bond to die :(

A charming, charismatic man. He wasn't my favorite Bond by any stretch, but it is a humongous tribute to his talent, wit, charm and off the charts likability that somehow, in the midst of the weirdest and worst era of the franchise, he made it work. Roger Moore was always the best part about Roger Moore Bond films. His films might be the most rewatchable, and that's because of him.

90 years old. May he rest in peace.

RIP was watching The Man With the Golden Gun a few days ago and my mum commented on how he was my favourite since I grew up during his era as Bond, gutted.

RIP

For some reason I was under the impression Richard Kiel just recently passed in the past year, when it was in fact 2014. Those two made for some campy fun moments.

The Quest with Van Damme and Roger is an underrated gem.

RIP. He was and never will be My Bond™, but I can't deny for even a second that he did make the role his own and captivated audiences with his more gentle and good-natured approach, and regardless of the batting average of the films he starred in, no one had ever said a single bad word from him and his role as a kind of Bond historian was invaluable, thanks to his charming candidness and great work ethic. He will be missed.

Sean Connery turns 87 this year too. It was only a matter of time, but fuck.....this is crushing.

Roger Moore is gone. Fuck.

Damn.

As a big Bond fan this hits hard.

I also watched Ffolkes the other day as well. What a strange film but I enjoyed it.

The Bond I grew up with. Maybe not the best, but probably the movies I'm most fond of.

Rest in peace, good sir.

This has been a horrible day to wake up to.

-Manchester bombing.
-Suicide of Zack Snyder's daughter.
-Roger Moore dying.

89?

That's a good innings.

RIP.

2017 even worse than 2016.

To be fair Sir Roger Moore was old and had lead a good life so this should be a celebration. The same when Stan Lee himself eventually shuffles off this mortal coil. Old people die, it's not fun but it happens.
