Per my wife, it had to do with her workaholic tendencies and just refusing to rest (to the point of extreme negligence). It's sad because my wife really fucking loves her and has a ridiculous amount of Ayu merch. This means she'll probably never see her.

Huh, tricot's new album debuted in the top 10 of the Oricon album chart first day. Not bad. Settled at 13-14 since. Need to get back on my commute before checking it out.

For any fans here of The Yellow Monkey, they just released a new best album and it's currently #1 on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking. As far as best albums go, this one is incredibly good. God I love The Yellow Monkey.

Can you be more specific? Like, what store are you talking about and what are you trying to buy (ex. digital vs. physical for Amazon.co.jp)? You might get some more assistance if we know what to look for.

Sorry, Its amazon Japan

I was looking to buy digital albums (Specifically Principle by Vola and the Oriental Machine and Vibrations by Tokyo Health Club) and I read somewhere that you cannot buy digital goods directly from them, but can buy gift card (which i did) and buy music with those

As you can see, completely made up address and phone number, the only real thing in all of this is my credit card, issued in France.
I just hit "Reload your balance" whenever I want stuff, add the amount I need, and buy the MP3, that's it.

Saw Vamps last night and boy was that a helluva show. I absolutely shocked at how good Hyde's voice sounded in person. If anyone is thinking about going I highly recommend it and definitely make sure to see Palaye Royale, who are opening for them. I'd never heard of them and they were an absolute blast.

I've never tried to buy digital music on Amazon Japan (or any Amazon, actually), but if it works like digital games then I think Amazon treats those purchases like 1-Click purchases, i.e. it automatically uses your default payment method and billing/shipping address. Is it possible you still have the credit card you used to buy the gift card balance as your default?

I had to remove my credit card and real billing/shipping address after loading up the gift cert amount last time I bought digital music from Amazon Japan. Couldn't figure it out but once I did that it worked like a charm. Hope that helps!

I was going to say different producer, because it sounded so different, but it turned out to be Hidefumi so I'm gonna go with black magic instead.

Also: how is THIS MV the one that's not sponsored? It looks real expensive!

They do credit the JRA at the bottom of the credits, so there's probably some backrubbing between the two. I think there is still Derby stuff that hasn't been released, so maybe that's a part of it (Time to Pray versus Play)

I feel like anon Japanese mask culture is fairly strong in every context, not just music.

Also overlaps with the acceptability of cough masks

Fear and Loathing has really cool band shirts. There's this place with used band shirts for super cheap, and last time I went there were maybe ten different cool ones that all happened to be for that band. Wish I liked them, but the crabcore with auto tune kills it for me.

Why's their white dude look so ridiculous now? Not a good look.
