I'm afraid to start learning Black Adam because of NRS patch tendencies. :(

I usually drop the games before they patch, lol. I see myself playing this for awhile, but I don't want to have to constantly adjust because things are getting changed all the time.

It means you recover from your attack animation before your opponent recovers from their block stun.
This.
Learning frames is high level shit though, but if know how to apply it to your mix ups and game play you will ace your opponents.

One of the reasons i loved MKX, broken shit dont dominate for too long aka SF5.
And i used to play Cassie cage so i know what nerf feel like.

Don't play the broken ass characters that skipped through QA then.

Let's say you have finished your special move that's +2 on block and you and your opponent both have a 7 frame move and you do it at the same time. You would get the hit instead of trading because you were currently plus.

It's math, 7 frames - what you were plus on block = how many frames your move actually is. In my example your 7 frame move can only be traded or beaten by a 5 frame move or better (there are no 5 frame moves in the game so your opponent has to block or maybe backdash). The reverse is negative on block so it'd be the 7 frames + what you were negative (let's use -2 to make it clean) = how many frames your move actually is. So your 7 frame becomes a 9 frame so it gets traded with any 9 frame move your opponent has and beaten by any 8 frame or lower move your opponent has.

It means you recover from your attack animation before your opponent recovers from their block stun.

Cheers, guys!

That's not my fault. I love Black Adam as a character. Maybe they should have better QA and not patch their games so much.

What controller are you guys playing with? I'm using the DS4 now and I'm not very comfortable with the directional pad

I started on a Hori FC pad, but ultimately ended up on a stick where I'm much more comfortable. J

Patching fucked Bladam up in I1.
He was still technically viable and all right, but they gutted him something fierce.

And with NRS history tends to repeat.

Hence my fear. I don't want to put time into learning a character and have things I enjoy about them changed and removed within a month or two of learning said things.

I refuse to believe GL's super isn't glitched somehow. It is so easy to be knocked out of it, it's like he doesn't get the start up armor everyone else gets.

Fucking Black Adam and Aquaman are just whipping my ass six ways to Sunday no matter how low the AI difficulty is, goddamn. At least my Batman has like 2900 defense and can take the whipping. Makes for some frustrating matches, though.

I actually don't mind how Cheetah looks. I'm more offended by that obvious-xray-holdover finishing kick for her Super than anything about her looks.

Vixen is quite well done, though, and it sucks she doesn't get some gear options as a premium "shader". I wouldn't mind some DLC that allows her to have a unique tree of gear options, just sayin...

...Overall though, Cheetah is probably the character that mostly felt like other companies fighting game characters to me. Canary's normals have stubby-feeling limbs in comparison, and Harley's near-special-move lookin stuff feels like Darkstalkers in spirit, but not as solidly done. Cheeta's Sweep and other footsie normals feel as if they have solid startup, range, and (for this game) hitstun. Her ability to combo feels slightly awkward in how her command grapples hit juggle opponents in any state, but whiff on standing characters. But that's NRS oddities.. at least her throws that count as parts of a command list combo work mostly universally.

Once she starts slashin' on people, the mixups and aggressions can be fast and fatal.

Best advice for ever playing a NRS game, play several characters and never get attached to anyone.

If you can't do that, then my next advice is to not take the game very seriously, or not play it at all.

One way or another you are gonna get hurt.

Welp, my Supergirl AI beat both the Vixen and the Braniac boss on the first try, while I just sat there cheering for it. This feels weird but I kind of love that it works.

Play an honest character like Robin.

That's a huge part of why I don't play them for very long.

We'll see. I'm having fun right now. :)

Messing around with Supergirl/Robin/Black Adam right now.

Mostly just Supergirl to get used to how the game feels. Was planning on putting more time into Robin and Black Adam this weekend.

Black Adam has good damage without depending on meter, but he's not broken. As far as I know, he has no real mix-ups.

Sonic was one of my most requested characters to appear next to Terra. Seeing him so close and not make it makes me sad.
The concept looks amazing btw

So does anyone actually finish a whole multiverse objective in one sitting? They just take way too long to get through all the chapters and after a few objectives I just get tired of it. If the same Earth comes back does progress save?

I didn't even realise you can quit out. I just send the AI in and leave it running.

Suddenly I can't access the online stuff and it says that I can't access the content due to parental control restriction? Anyone facing this??

PSN Store shows an error too

Anyone have one of those anomalies show up? I was playing the multiverse and beat Black Adam. Then, out of nowhere, I found myself fighting Black Adam again (only this time he was super strong and whipped my ass). Wondering what kind of rewards you get if you actually win one of those matches.

I wish I was prepared...was kind of going through the motions since it was an easy multiverse otherwise, and took me a life bar to realize what was actually happening. Hah.

Glad I don't get so fussed over a few lines of dialogue, lol. Ya'll acting like Damian is in an anime game and he never stops talking or something.

He talks at least once a match and that is way too much. He's fun to play but he belongs in Drawn to Death.

Same reason why I've not touched him much after getting him to 20. Not a fan of NRS knee jerk reaction balancing. Been mainly sticking with Scarecrow, Harley, Darkseid, and Brainiac right now. Thinking of picking up Robin in the next few days as I've gotten some cool gear pieces and the damians regret (sp?) shader for him.

Bane looks to be a lot of fun too.

I have 1 epic head for Harley but I have 7 chests (triple of one and doubles of another). 21 epics total on her. At least she's fun to play.

I definitely agree that Bane looks like a lot of fun but I struggle with slower characters so I haven't tried yet.

I'm just starting to use Batman outside of story mode and my god is he easy to use compared to some of the other characters. I don't know how he fares online but he's easy mode in Multiverse against the AI.

And Damian is cool. He's no Nightwing but I like him anyway, especially in this game. His swordfighting moves are on point.

Have any of those "push RS to assist" characters shown up in Multiverse yet besides Constantine, El Diablo, Raven, and Arsenal?

Yeah with the large space between characters in neutral and the stronger than average zoning this game has it makes Bane a little harder to get going than most. His run move is nice for closing the distance and the armor helps against most characters.

Batman is very good. He has a lot of tools and easy combos that do heavy damage. Can rush down or hang in neutral.

So, uh, apparently I left House of L's #4 by mistake. How do I get back?

EDIT: Found the code. Sent an application for rejoining the guild.
