One of my biggest issues with comics is the fact that almost everyone has to be invulnerable to a ridiculous extent. How many people have taken hits from the Hulk and survived inexplicably?
Kills a lot of the tension most of the time. That's one of the reasons Spider-Man is my favorite to read. Even in shitty runs like the Phoenix Force crap, you have that incredible part where he gets beat to a pulp by Colossus and Magick.
It's kinda hilarious that in the physical strength sense, DBZ is more grounded. Heh.

It's difficult to quantify DBZ characters in terms of raw strength. THey hurl around blasts that could destroy planets and even solar systems, and sometimes tank those same level attacks, but in the early Buu saga, Goku was winded working out with a mere 40 tons or so on him. Superman could lift 40 tons with a fingernail clipping. Even the weak DCAU version could do that.
Goku and Beerus fighting almost destroyed the universe.
Though as far as planets go, I still think in the DBZ universe, planets adjust to the powers of the people living there. It's why Nappa powering up can alter the weather and cause destruction of the environment, but Goku black going Super Saiyan Rose doesn't even affect the surrounding buildings all that much.

robert downey jr is likely near the end of his days as iron man, so using civil war 2 to kill him off would make sense for the cinematic universe.
I am assuming that in 2022-2025 or so we will have a civil war 2 movie. aka what I expect the avengers movies after the infinity wars stuff to cover.

and? Krillin is massively stronger and got hit clean through, DBS Goku got bruised by a bullet despite trying to tank it. If you want an explanation it's that the Kid Goku thing was before he learned how to raise and lower his ki, so he was always on "max". Afterwards they raise and lower(to almost nothing) constantly to fit the situation and fight more efficiently, sometimes they fuck up.
Beerus (and presumably the other Gods/Angels) can beat gag characters.
Flash doesn't stand a chance.

If 18 fights a few poachers, Carol's gonna need to at least go Binary.
Carol is pretty much screwed in this battle. 18 leans much more towards melee combat and very rarely uses ki blast as seen when she beat the crap out of Super Saiyan Vegeta.
Even if she did use a blast she'd quickly figure out that Carol is absorbing it and isn't dumb enough to keep pouring on the juice so Carol isn't going to be able to reach Binary level in a fight with her.

Yeah, the problem is that some DB fans cant accept it. I am a DB fan. Read the manga, watched all series, movies.... but lets be real. The DB universe characters would get curb stomped by MANY many... MANY DC and Marvel characters.
In fact, here's a fun one.
Scarlet Witch vs. ALL of the DB universe and the Justice League.... set in the DC universe. Oh, and in this scenario someone just killed Quicksilver and Magneto (Krillin, Green Arrow and um Dr. Briefs cat killed them) and Dr. Strange is nowhere to be found.

I hope 18 is featured more as the current arc in DBS continues. Every moment she gets lines it's either real talk or awesome talk. See her making Trunks sweat in the last arc ... that being said, Carol wins.

they have actually, Vegeta was able to resist Babidi's mind control and do whatever he wanted despite receiving the power up and getting the M on his head. If he wanted he could have completely resisted Babidi altogether but he wanted more power.

She needed Blue Marvel to boost her to Binary on the Ultimates. I don't think she can get there by herself anymore, but I haven't been keeping up with her.
She needs to absorb an external energy source to go Binary. Where is she going to get one in the middle of a fight without a teammate to boost her?

I honestly don't remember how that was handled in the show. It's been long time.

A long enough fight and she would eventually absorb enough of 18s attacks to go solar system buster level. This is assuming we're talking about current 18 who, while has not shown any feats, we can assume is at least somewhere near'ish of 17, who is somewhere near or around SSB Goku.
Tear his body apart with Katchin or some other neat stuff with Katchin. Maybe make some Katchin/Vibranium/Adamantium alloy and wreck his shit with that? Many options really. Oh, and lets not forget that Katchin was used by Zamasu (who much like Scott Summers.... was right) against Vegetto.
