Seems like the new trailer dropped information of the gameplay modes as well.

Single player:
Tutorial
Free Battle
Trial Battle (Mix of usual Arcade Modes from EXVS and the Next Plus mission mode from N+ ? Basically Series of battles with various routes)
Ultimate Battle (Survival Mode with Extra Battles depending on how well you do in standard waves)

Both Trial and Ultimate Battles have online Coop.

Multiplayer:
Casual Match (Quick Matches where you can choose 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3)
Player Match (Lobbies, 3v3 is also possible here)
Ranked Match

For those sad that there's no Story or huge campaign, if Trial Battle is anything like Next Plus mission mode you'll be very occupied when you start it. Shit had leveling systems and the like and entire routes dedicated with anime-accurate battles (complete with unique voice acting). Hopefully it's something like that and not the terrible mission mode from Full Boost.

Not sure if mentioned but is there local vs/co-op mode?

Double-dipping for two reasons.

1. So I can play it ASAP
2. If the servers are indeed separated (which I'm thinking they will be), then if the NA community dies out, I'll still have the JP version to go back to.

Not a region lock per say, but the demo does seem to separate users based on PSN account region.

It's not a feature exclusive to Gundam. That's just how PSN+ works lol.

The one thing I'm worried about is multiplayer being split up by region or something. While playing on my US account in the beta I couldn't find any real rooms or games. I had to switch to my JP one to find even the rooms other US players were making.(it was in the discord so I'm assuming a lot of them were using the JP accounts they used for Full Boost)

Gundam Battle Operation Next works the same way on the PS4. Gundam Breaker 3's online isn't locked to specific regions, though.

I did argue that this had a greater chance then some expected due to the ravenous UC fan base.

That said I would love to see the receipts of this because I do not trust Bandai Namco to actually put anything over UC because it is their baby.

I'd think it would be obvious. The sheer iconic status and pppularity of the original show, teamed up with the current new hotness, in the only cover that actually looks good as box art and not a poster. It was also the first option in the poll, and RX78/Barbatos feature heavily in the opening of the main trailer.

This was pre-ordained, basically.

Never thought I'd see the day that Zeta is the most represented series in one of these games.

So happy for Heavy Arms Kai. Always wanted it as DLC for Full Boost. Happy with this roster overall, and DLC will fill in the gaps quickly I'm sure. Really hope that Zeta is garbage tier again.

Glad the RX-78/Barbatos cover won; the others would have been fine reversible options, but the Gundam-Ass-Gundam is too iconic to take a backseat on the cover of a crossover game. And Barbatos is just a rad design.

They're probably still figuring out how to rework the DX without GX-bits or Virsago CB without Ashtaron. X and Divider out to be good to go sans the old csB, though!
