A store is selling the base game relatively cheap. Is there any word on ps4 season pass being able to be bought separately? I can't find it on the ps store.

I was upset that tekken ball never came to ttt 2 ps3 version and was going to wait a bit with the next title, but with the price and the fact that it's the first ps4 tekken..., I just may fold and get it at launch anyways.

I managed to locate a PS3 and redownloading TTT2 now. May treat myself to a viewing of all the FMVs this evening once I'm done practising.

You can preorder it at the Bestbuy website so I assume everywhere else will get it in time/when the game launches.

The OP of the community thread has a set of Tag 2 tutorial and introduction videos that were put out around it's release. Likewise if you search for 'Tekken 7 tutorial video' you'll find a few shorter videos that MarkMan has put out with Namco Bandai on their official channel.

I think honestly before trying to deep dive too much into the systems and what have you you're probably better off watching some of Aris' Mystery Gosu Tekken videos and some recent tournament matches from combo breaker to build up your enthusiasm of the game. Tekken takes an amount of time to get your head around but once you do it is well worth it, and whether you end up doing that has more to do with your level of enthusiasm and enjoyment than the quality of tutorial videos or written guides that you may look at.

Looks Like I'm gonna buy through Gamersgate for $61.49. I know CDKeys is cheaper, but I'd rather get Eliza as well. I wish the PC version was getting a collector's edition. It would be nice to have as a centerpiece for the rest of my Tekken games.

It would be cool if they had an updated box set like they did with Tekken 5 to put all your Tekken games together on display. Only thing that irks me is Tekken 1 is the greatest hits version, but I refuse to buy that clamshell black label box. So damn ugly.

Edit: Looks like it did release in a jewel case. That version is pretty expensive though.

Yeah, I'm pre ordering from Gamersgate on May 31 as well. Seems to be the only way for Deluxe.

Does the North American deluxe also get the soundtrack? It doesn't say on the PSN page.

I bought the Japanese deluxe off PSN and it apparently comes with the OST, both it and the game started preloading a couple of hours ago.

Found the PC Collector's edition on Amazon.. but it's got to get shipped from the UK.

Edit: Actually I don't even know. I don't have room for all that stuff anyway.

holy shit that is an awesome DVD collection! doesn't look cheap at all to me, bro. back then it must've been every hardcore tekken fan's dream to own. honestly this looks cooler than I expected and yeah, now that I know what you were talking about it would've been great if they did that for Tekken 7. maybe for the next decade or half decade anniversary

Yeah the box was part of the Tekken 5 CE. IIRC it was the game, that box, and a Hori arcade stick.

a CE with 2 trilogies, meaning 6 games plus a stick. must've been over $100? i would've just bought the collection.

i played tekken once in the arcade and that was tag 1. wasn't used to the stick and even though i won that one match I wasn't that good, but I was a kid anyways
