I was thinking last night, Donald Trump is going to go into the urban areas, to Chicago, and even if he has to bring the feds in to do it, he's going to clean out the drugs and the crime and the thugs so that the good folks can finally start growing and living. I've noticed that over the past 60 years, not one black man—or black woman, but especially black man—has been able to do that. From the last 50 years or so, maybe 60, the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright Jr., the black politicians and civil rights leaders, even Barack Obama, who had the power of the United States behind him, could have gone in with the national guard, with the police department, and cleaned out that mess so the good people can live, but he did not do it.

It takes a white man to do it, Steve, and Donald Trump will do this. So I'm wondering, what is wrong with black men that they are not able to go in and clean up their own neighborhoods, put their own families back together? It takes a white man to do it, and it's the white man that they hate. They hate this white man and he's the one that's going to save them. Reminds me of Jesus Christ, how he came and made it possible for us to return to the Father, and he was hated for doing that as well, and they took him out. Donald Trump is the white savior.

i grew up enjoying the Dennis Miller show, so it's disappointing but he's been a neocon hack since...at least the iraqi war, that's when i noticed it. in my mind, he saw franken's success and decided to try that with the right, there's been talk of him running forever but like geraldo, he's just kinda known now for dumb hot takes

1. The ability to create the universe, be everywhere at the same time, do anything.
2. Help Trump get elected to push right wing policies and ideas on America.

This is what shits me so much about religion. The whole thing is based on the idea that God is completely helpless and requires people to do "its work". The sense of arrogance is staggering when God could completely change everything it didn't like with the flick of its wrist... just like it did when it fucking created everything.

This madness needs to stop.

He attributes it to 9/11 making him take politics seriously for a change. And he's still pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, etc.

Franken says he didn't really change:
The perceived change did not surprise former Saturday Night Live colleague and Democratic Party Senator Al Franken, however: "People have said to me, ‘What happened to Dennis?' Nothing happened to Dennis. He's the same Dennis. He's always had a conservative streak on certain issues."

In a different interview Franken stated "Dennis was always sort of conservative on certain kinds of issues. I am not quite sure why he decided to become a comedian with a dog in the fight, but as a comedian with a dog in the fight I sympathize with him."
