Special Crash announcement you say? Meh.

We all know what the Crash surprise is:

"We are making a completely new and original Crash Bandicoot game, but you can only get it with a purchase of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy: Deluxe Edition for $80!"
I hate this practice but I'd be in for CTR. Still think it's the best cart racer ever. Best part is eventually everyone will get to play this gem when it goes multiplat.

Hyped to see what this War Mode is all about. Hoping to see them go full on trench warfare with you and a few buddies going up against a shitstorm of NPC's.

Where are people getting the idea of War being a PvE/co-op game mode? From that brief description, it sounds more like CoD's take on Operations mode from BF1. I can't imagine it would be fighting versus bots when Zombies is already in.

I just finished a replay of CTR's adventure mode. Spent the whole time wondering how great the game would look in the N.Sane Trilogy art style. Add an online mode and AI racers to 3-4 player offline mulitplayer to make it the definitive experience.

I bet the special Crash announcement is that it's coming to other platforms after a set period of time.
Yea i am sure that is a surprise.....sony would love for activision to undercut them so close to release at e3 after all their involvement.....

Defiantly in for Destiny 2 beta news. Still not 100% sure if day one purchase or wait a year like I did when Taken King came out.

Waaaaaaa-

Yeah surprise huh. I mean they might as well have left in Bladedancer and just reconfigured it the way they did Striker. I will admit I'm a bit lukewarm to the idea of using the same subclasses yet again. It seems to me all they did was take the most maligned subclass from each guardian type and redid them.

I'd be ecstatic if the announcement was a CTR remake (objectively best kart racing game ever), but it's probably going to be X1/PC versions of the trilogy remaster.

Seems like you would buy the CTR domain if you were going to go that route, unless they are just renaming it completely. I'm guessing it's not CTR though.

Crash "surprise" would presumably be the multiplat versions of Trilogy, no? Doubt there'd be a CTR announcement before Acti have a chance to see how the Trilogy does first. Either one would be a pleasant surprise of course as I'm sure we'd all be glad to see an end to the port-begging and passive aggressive shitposting that derails almost every thread relating to the games as well.

Not much else on Acti's plate but Destiny 2 and COD are gonna be huuuge this year.

Not really undercutting. Sony has held on to the marketing for the past six months now. Besides, we have had these same exact situations with other 3rd party publishers. See Capcom and the Dead Rising 4 fiasco.

Good surprises:
1. CTR included
2. Releasing on more platforms

Bad surprises:
1. Crash visual novel
2. Play as characters from Overwatch in Crash Trilogy
3. Pre-order bonus costumes
4. Demo

Additionally, E3 will showcase the debut of a brand-new Guardian subclass, the Arcstrider Hunter. Wielding a new super ability that allows them to summon an Arc-empowered staff for close-quarters melee combat, the Arcstrider Hunter will be playable for the first time at E3.
