Let's discuss the Super Mario Odyssey main theme!

Please almighty let this soundtrack be a vinyl release. Sky blue picture disc with artwork from the game, with this song and I pray there's another vocal track or five to highlight on 20 minutes of each side.

Nothing makes me want to get up and do a cheesy dance snapping my fingers like this song.

When the instruments first started up I was like "Yes! New jazzy main theme!" and then when the vocals kicked in I was like "Holy shit, a Mario song with vocals!" It completely floored me in a good way and I've basically been playing it all day. I actually sent the full version to my girlfriend who hadn't seen the trailer and she couldn't believe it was official. She loved it too, mind you.

Amazing song. But I hope that the actual game itself has more than big-band. I kind of miss the Galaxy orchestral style.

Didn't like it at first listen in the trailer but whenever it played during Treehouse intermissions I was jamming, and now I love it.

Love that big band jazz vibe and how unashamedly joyous the lyrics are. It's just...so Mario!

I wonder if the decision came from the people who approved all the songs with lyrics for Warioware

They're all amazing

cheesy as fuck. I love it. It's giving me such sonic adventure vibes.

Man, sonic adventure was just so ahead of its time.

I love that Pauline is the one singing it. Cool way to bring the character back.

That's what makes this baller status for me.

They brought back an old school character in such an awesome way, singing the main theme in a style that fit her look to a tee.

Good stuff Ninty.

After all these years, Pauline is back on the top of a building...

As for the song, I love it! Galaxy's music is hard to top so I'm glad they're trying different genres and instrumentation.

Can't wait to hear more of the soundtrack :)

Reminds me of the Katamari Damacy soundtrack, jazzy, self-referential, joyous' and spot-fucking-on tone for the game.

I really dug the return to dixieland jazz, ragtime, and big band in SMB3DW, and I have really high hopes for the soundtrack for Oddysey. The globetrotting should allow for some really interesting instrumentation.

The best Mario trailer since Galaxy. Maybe ever.

Pauline being the one presumably singing this and her role as mayor of New Donk City must have Daisy fans upset like no tomorrow now that I think about it. Even she managed to comeback into a main series game before her.

Amazing song. But I hope that the actual game itself has more than big-band. I kind of miss the Galaxy orchestral style.
While I love me some Galaxy, and it's orchestral music, especially Galaxy 2 (literally my all-time favorite game), I think it's good they are doing something different with the music here.

Plus, I'm still holding out hope we will still see Galaxy 3 some day.

Nintendo's being ambitious as hell with this soundtrack in a way the series hasn't been since Galaxy and I love it.

It's really fun. Helps set the atmosphere. Really gives Pauline and New Donk City some personality.

(Who would have ever guessed we'd be talking about Pauline in a new main series game?)

This song gives the game its identity. It's a fun jet-setting song perfect for Mario Odyssey.
Yep, which I love.

While Galaxy series was excellent, and I would love nothing more than to see a Galaxy 3, at the same time, I'm very much a fan of this game doing something different for the series, and this amazing song sets the tone perfectly.
