WHOA!!!!
I tried Windlands with move controllers. Lots of options on how to control, I felt most comfortable with the default setting (left move button to move forward, right move button to jump). But it's hard to switch when you played it for hours with a regular controller. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an option to adjust turning speed.
Still a great move by the devs to implement this.

Funny thing is, when Todd Howard was on that Scorpio video talking about VR at E3 2016, I thought Bethesda would be making VR games for PC and Scorpio (XB1X) only. Crazy that two of the three announced VR games from Bethesda are coming to PSVR (obviously they are not going on Oculus any time soon). I knew Fallout 4 on PSVR was a pipedream, but didn't expect Doom or Skyrim to be coming.
Is "Microcity" their game?

Just a heads up for people like me that are on the fence for Drive Club VR, my local Target had it in the clearance bin for $20. I decided to give it a go for that price.

What are the impressions on this game, I dont remember hearing anything on it. Picked up Tethered, no brainer at that price.

I don't know, but it doesn't just charge from console. It also charges from my PC's USB ports.
But I use the Power-A PSVR stand for all of my controller charging now.

So... Mortal Blitz. Looks nice, plays pretty well, just one problem. Because you have to duck and hide behind cover and it's rarely like right there like the desk in The London Heist, you can't play it very well when seated, not unless there's some nuance about the controls I don't understand.
I got through the first/opening mission because you're in a fairly enclosed space without much space to move about, but the second mission, the environments open up some and then it becomes critical to use cover effectively. I got smoked in about 30 seconds because I couldn't.
Might have to shelve it until I have a space with more room to play.

I give up, can't find farpoint bundle in the US other than scalper prices at eBay. How am I supposed to buy the standalone game without the freaking accessory for sale? This is just BS

Are you looking for just the game? There is a mom & pop shop near my work that had a copy of the game itself the other day. They charge a few bucks less than regular retail for most games, so I think it's something like $56.95 instead of $59.99. Do you want me to snag it and you can PayPal me for it?
I feel like you need to play it standing so you're able to duck and hide. It simply doesn't work when you're sitting.

The game itself is easy to find, but how can you play the game without the accessory if the bundle has sold out and they don't sell the accessory by itself ? Just stupid
You have to suck them. One of the button does that.

Despite how much I want it to be true (and a GTAV VR even more), TakeTwo's CEO is very skeptical of VR, so I'm afraid we're not gonna see any meaty content from them until VR becomes much more mainstream.

Upgraded my pa4 to pro (not for reasons of VR) and tried a game today I forget the name the one where you sit in a chair with your hands locked by a puzzle
Anyway I was surprised to see the mild tracking issues I had with PS4 are gone. That thing where it would lose controller orientation? - janky controller syndrome - or sometimes the world would move slightly.
Everything else was same: same room, same controllers same camera same tv.
I wonder why the old PS4 was losing tracking but not pro. Is there any increase in camera sampling associated with pro? I thought it was just better visuals.

PS4 Pro comes with a redesigned controller that has an additional tracking light on the touchpad.
Also The Assembly for £7.99 (PS+). Can't resist at that price.

And they're bringing Skyrim to Switch (not VR, I know, but a sign that they're open to new platforms and experiments).
The cynical view would be that they're just milking existing games, I guess - as opposed to Ubi doing smaller but original VR games. I'm still pleasantly surprised, though. We need more big devs and pubs pushing VR and especially long-form content like this.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not knocking all the great indies putting in work, but it's the higher profile stuff that will continue sell hardware, and I think that's what we need to make VR a longer term proposition.
And now I just realised how much I want Dishonored in VR. Imagine exploring Dunwall...

Ok so after playing RE7 with a friend on his VR and loving it I finally caved and bought a PSVR bundle with the camera and Worlds from a retailer that had a no VAT day this saturday, for 330....
Looking for some hidden gems out there (not interested on MP) Have to say I got really sick on the X-Wing experience, a bit queasy with RE but that git better fast, same with Farpoint. I played the Rez demo and also hot kinda sick at the end..
I really wanna but Farpoint+ Aim controller but totally out of stock atm over here (Spain)...any info on that?
Also, how have the sales been? Not many things discounted atm.

Just going to suggest something, thats usually missing from recommendations: Harmonix VR Easel mode if you have a knack for creativity. Try the demo on the download demo disc thing.
For sales: Tethered is finally on a great sale, that you might want to snatch up.
