Ok i got to admit this opening the ports changed my experience 180 degrees, I'm getting matched with other players ever 20~30 seconds.
I should try the same thing with Tekken 7 and see if it's going to work.

Edit: match making for Tekken 7 is actually faster now, not as fast as SFV but a huge improvement down from 5~6 minutes for one match to 1~2 minutes tops.

Is English not your first language? People talk like this all the time. In a year people will say "We got a Trump on our hands" when someone commits treason instead of "a Benedict Arnold".
God, I hope this happens.
Wow that looks really good.

The fact that this mod still didn't exist until almost a year and a half after launch is simply astonishing.
Professional tier mod right there.
Youll get inuyasaha and you will enjoy it.
Carfeful what you joke about. A faithful ASW made Sesshomaru and Inuyasha would propel them to number one most financially successful 2D FG dev via Fujoshi purchases alone.

Bought an arcade stick last week and been playing SFV. I'm usually a Mika character but wanted to break it in with my old favorite (and easy to use) Ryu. I stink with the arcade stick. Might go back to the xbox360 controller.

I played the first 3 months using an Xbox One pad on PC. Then I switched to a fight stick I bought which I found was much better once I got used to it. Then I got the game on PS4 and after a while decided to try using my DS4 as its quieter (got a wife and kid and I tend to play when they are in bed). I found I played just fine on the pad after adjusting so stuck with it for a few months.

Then I decided to try my fight stick again (I have back pain issues so was wondering what is most comfortable). I bought some silencers for the buttons and played using the FS for a few days. I played like shit. Switched back to DS4 and I am so much better using it. It's prob because I played most my Fighting games back on SNES pads and PS1 pads when I was young. I also played in arcades so can use both.

Just remember that one controller type isn't better than the other. It's more about what works for you. A lot of the old guard use fight sticks because they played so much in the arcade but a lot of the new blood are on DS4s because thats what they grew up with. And the pad players are winning a lot.

I also tried using my Xbox One controller again on the PC version and I hate it. The dpad is pretty terrible for this game compared to the DS4 one which is almost perfect for me.

On fight sticks and pads: I always felt it was best to learn both. I forced myself to learn stick playing Tekken 2 on the PlayStation with the Hori back then. I had always been on pad up to that point (SNES Street Fighter of course), but figured it would be best to be able to switch between both, especially when a stick wasn't available (say, if my friends only did pads or even the Saturn, which had crappy sticks generally). So while I definitely prefer sticks now, I can always go back and rock on a pad at any point for any fighter and am probably still better at charge characters on a pad actually.

I've been watching old episodes of Excellent Adventures from 2014, its really good watching Mike and Gootecks chasing runbacks and seeing the salty responses from them and others on Xbox Live. I wish SFV could do this, there are many times I want the run back after a close 2/3 set.

I'm currently playing on both stick and pad.

KI TE2 on xbox and DS4 on my PS4.

Boy is the former tough to wrap my mind and fingers around, gonna be years of work I think for me to feel comfy.

What did you specify for port forwarding? Based on your experience I'm interested in doing this too.

One piece tbh
I love Dragonball, but a OP game would be so much better. How many different playstyles can you even have in a DB game? Almost every character fights the same now a days. That's why Buu gets me hype in DBFZ. He's one of the only characters with unique powers.

washed up

I refuse to call Daigo washed up due to poor results in SFV. If they make neutral tools much better and he's still putting up bad results on the regular like right now, then I'll call him washed. But as of right now I refuse. This game certainly has its players who are consistently great like Fuudo, but I can't remember a game where a player looks like ass for a full year and then somehow starts dominating the next 3 tournaments. Bonchan was straight ass for 8 months, and then he started to dominate like he's the #1 player in the game. Snake was ass for a full year and now he's dominating. Gamerbee and Daigo looked like ass when SFV came out, they figured it out and became pretty good, and now both look like ass again. Infiltration is looking like ass now.

LPN was looking like ass last year, and now he's looking a lot better in season 2. Samurai has been in the game for years and always has been a decent player, but now all of a sudden is getting some pretty good results.

This game is an enigma.

No one wants arc to do hokotu 2? That makes me sad

Ive started on vol 2 trials and karin's are as hard as nails im stuck on 7. It seems that qcf+kk,p to qcf+kk,p just wont connect and ive got difficulty doing the non ex version

Have you considered a non poison character

They all just work so well for me, I don't need to change my ways! Though tbh, it was the shank and the stomp that got me interested in RAAM. Finding out he has a poison mechanic was just serendipitous.
Jojo is the weebest, jojo is hipster weeb.

I wouldn't mind down the " lets make a real ass fighting game out of this popular thing list" and going strait to naruto and one peice.
So on a scale of "Only ever watched DBZ as a kid" to "Regularly does the Naruto-style run" to "Has a female body pillow", where does JoJo fall?

My man. Naruto needs to get the ASW treatment. Just look at Answer in GG and imagine what they'd do with such a game. Hnng.

I've found it to fall under "Yes, we get it, you watch JoJo"

maybe they could do a jump crossover and make everyone happy

They could do it, but it would be difficult to do, and kind of difficult to sell in some ways. Because if you think Comic book games suffer from " who's this character" really bad, imagine jump but to the rest of the world.

It would need to appeal to casuals super hard, and also teach people who the characters were. And it would also need to rely on proven brands like DBZ, OP, Naruto, along with new comers like my hero acedemia and black clover to push its newer brand and use every single well known to moderately well known manga in a world sense it its marketing.

It would also require a lot of stuff to keep players busy who are so serious, which is another larger undertaking.

I think it could work, and if it did it would need to Immediately take advantage of that and push the brands respective anime, but it would take a lot of work and smart marketing.

Jojo is hipster hair bun anime. Its that " let me tell you about this horseshit" anime.

When watch Wannabe and say "Is that a Jojo reference?"

This game is an enigma.

It's not really an enigma. The game doesn't benefit people who want to play defensively for the most part.

But it's not about neutral tools, because you have to look at it contextually. Why did Daigo lose against Menard? Because he 1.) didn't know how to deal with the matchup (his words on Twitter) and 2.) played like ass. That was not the same Guile he brought out against Eita, not the same Guile he brought out against people before his loss. He didn't whiff punish obvious buttons, he kept pressing random shit on wakeup and got punished, he didn't even AA with flash kicks and instead either got jumped on or tried to aa with cr mp (or was it lp).

He\s playing Guile. He's not playing some gimped ass character.

Why is Bonchan winning tournaments? Because his spacing is ridiculous. It's sort of how Punk is winning, because their spacing and placement of their characters is just leagues ahead of other people.

Shit, you mention LPN. You know why LPN started to suck? Because he started focusing on seven damn characters. Once he went back to just one or two, he got better. Samurai just improved with a character that suits him pretty well. There's no flux with that guy.

People need to start looking at the matches for context instead of results. I don't think Daigo's washed up, but he definitely played like shit against that Laura and was rocking a high tier character. The blame is on him for that one.

Lpn didn't "Start" to suck. He's coasted by on character unfamiliarity for a while now, since sf4 even. He's doing better bc he gave up that strat finally and started trying to learn the game

It's hard to blame Daigo for playing like shit against a Laura. The entire nation of Japan be sleeping on that character.

Concepts like honor and social standing are important in Japanese culture. Which is why no one wants to sully their name by playing her.

Us baka gaijin don't have such issues.

I know I play Balrog but I goddamn hate Laura. It's not even that's she good, my brain can't handle her gameplan no matter what. I lose just as often to her now as I did in S2.0 and S1.
