Is there a way to catch up on the best PC games released within the last year? The last time I made a purchase on Steam was around May 8, 2016.

Jesus fucking christ people, why you're so desperately trying to buy everything right now? Prices will stay the same for next 2 weeks, why such hurry? Why you keep complaining about Steam getting hammered and continue to trying to add everything to your cart? Just relax and wait for few more hours, goddamit!

no

Guys, you're nuking the servers. Everyone log off right now so I can get more animu fighters real quick. Just gimme like 5 mins to buy stuff tops. Thanks.

I see Visual Novels continue to think they are special little snowflakes that dont need to do proper sale discounts. I will continue to not give them my money then.

so when we get home, we can play for an hour and never touch the game again

Oh, so it's finished then?

Or it's not a survival game?

Not finished and not really a survival game.

It has survival elements, but it's mostly a multiplayer arena game where the (fucking huge) arena gets methodically smaller, forcing action in way that feels organic.

It's strange and unique, despite what you'd think from looking at screenshots.

So how is Slime Rancher? Looks adorable, and seems to be quite relaxing. I generally wouldn't check out early access (Hover being the exception) stuff, but this looks to be coming along well and out of early access soon.

Is there a problem with selling trading cards as well?

I put some cards up for sale and confirmed them on the app but it still says they are on hold.

Can't see myself getting anything in a summer sale for once. The majority of my gaming time has been spent playing Battlegrounds and Arms. The Zelda DLC drops soon and the only game I really want is Nier but that isn't cheap enough yet.

Holy crap! Today's real megaton is that more than two people can have the same first name.
Just bought Kentucky Route Zero, leaving me with a grand total of £3.49 and I have about 5 games on my list that fits that price, but I think I'll wait.

I wanted to buy as soon as possible cause the purchase method I use asks 24 hours to be accepted. I hope it can activate till tomorrow, otherwise only monday! =(

The games I had my eye on didn't get big enough discounts for me to jump at, although I suppose they are all still fairly recent (The Surge, Prey, Vanquish). Maybe around holiday time.

I am considering Black Desert Online though, and maybe FF7 or 9.

I'm more complained about this thread than steam store, i spent hour trying to catch up with new pages and look for really valuable info, but most responses here not about sale but 404 and other errors.

Asking again: how is dead cells?

It's awesome. Easily the best early access game I've bought. Felt like a complete game on day 1 and they already had a major update that added a bunch of new content.

Rogue likes are very hit or miss for me (usually more miss), but I've already sunk 20 hours into this one and usually do at least 1 run everyday. Combat is very good and even though it's perma death, there is still a satisfying sense of progression in unlocking new weapons and upgrades each run. If you're into rogue likes, then it's an easy purchase.

So the BlazBlue collection is $25 but the last game by itself is $32. If I buy the collection as a gift can I just keep 1 and give away the rest or is it a gift-all or keep-all thing?

If I buy multiple things in one order, is it possible to refund them individually or would they refund the entire order? There's a few games I want to grab and I'm trying to see if it's necessary to buy them all individually just in case.

"Your purchase may have been completed, but there was a problem checking on the status of this transaction. Please check your account status page or your email for a confirmation receipt".

NOOOOO. They just took my money and ran. There's a name for that.
If your store can't handle the load, just take it offline completely dammit.

UPDATE: game finally appeared in my libary. Took a while though.

It's obviously not. Cut it out. Being the #3 game on Steam for like the last month makes it quite clear.
Cut what out? It looks the fucking same at a glance. Don't get upset because I called a survival/battle Royale game exactly what it looks like.

I had nothing to say about the game itself.

The divide between the second most popular modern otome VN (Amnesia) at 90% off and "classic" harem VNs so fucking old that their anime adaptions were localized a decade before the game still sitting at full price is ridiculous. I guess that's more on the publishers though.

whats the deal with Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force (the latest)? Im seeing you dotn need the first because this one is much better and in fact replays parts of the first, is this true?

I hear ya, I was going to get House of Fata Morgana but was disappointed to see that is has the same exact discount it has had the last 3-4 semi-annual Steam sales. Root Double got a steeper discount, but I think it can be bought even cheaper on PSN if you have PS Plus...

I really don't need any more games, but Steam-Deals are always a nice "event" to do some silly shopping. And my wishlist is massive. So I set a budget and bought the stuff I wanted the most. I broke a personal rule not to buy early access stuff, but I am desperate for some old-school-hack'n'slay right now. And as it seems it's quiete close to get out of EA.

Gets:
- Guardians of Ember (Early Access - Mortal Edition)
- The Last Remnant
- Paper Sorcerer
- Pony Island
- Sunless Sea
- House of Dying Sun
- 80 Days
- Devil Dagger

Looking forward to a PC-gaming heavy weekend :)
