The fact that Jayson Tatum was #1 on the Celtics drafts boards is just...scust

Ainge liked Tatum better. He worked out, and talked, to both players.

Personally I would have preferred keeping the #1 and Fultz. Ainge didn't.

I think Tatum could be very good. I think he'll be at around 14ppg this year and roughly 20ppg next year.

Listening to paxon on ESPN radio, tense interview. He sounds pissed about what Jimmy said in an interview.

Stull can't believe these guys are still in charge.

Crazy idea, could the Spurs cut enough cap space to get Lebron next year? Leonard, Lebron, and Pop together would be a force.

The Bulls are so stupid that it's crazy. The trade was garbage and we sell our second round pick for nothing. Please fire these guys. PLEASE.

I was listening to GarPax last night, and their were spewing some garbage along the lines they have too many forwards. Something about Niko too. This is their thought process and why the Bulls will be loser bros forever as long as these clowns stay in charge. A player Golden State wants and will pay max in cash and the Bulls don't think for a second, "Hmm the best team in the league wants this guy. Maybe we should keep him?" So happy GarPax are thinking of Niko instead.

Uncle Jerry only hands out life time contracts for his front office...i've accepted that these guys will never leave or be fired. Until some magical saviour comes in and buys the team which will never happen because the Bulls are too profitable.

Folks: Phil Jackson is so wrong for trying to fit guys into a system when they aren't the right fit. He should get the right guys

Also Folks: Why is Phil drafting high IQ tall and long perimeter players who could shoot? He should be getting 6'3 guys that play like Kemba.

I still can't believe that the Bulls traded up to get McDermott, then proceed to trade him and Gibson and a 2nd round pick for.... Cameron Payne. Then they trade butler for another point guard. You can't make this shit up.

Blake is the one FA I'm most curious about in terms of where he'll end up and how much he will get. Does he get a deal similar to Dwight last summer? Do the Celts conceivably have cap space for Blake and Gordon?

Someone please just mention the fact that Tatum Brown George and Hayward all play the same position. It's so weird how it goes completely ignored.

Some random ass non Stein, non Woj tweet seems much more likely to be a leak to try to make the Lakers panic and up their offer for George.

Doesn't Blake make way more sense than Hayward given the positions?

No harm in having lots of wing players that can handle the ball.

He's been really injury prone these last few seasons, so anybody who pays him the max is taking a huge risk. I think the Clips would be better off not chasing him too hard.

Versatility is not a bad thing in the modern NBA. It allows you to move guys around to fit matchups which is far more important to pigeonholing guys into dated "position" designations. There is no reason Heyward, Brown and Tatum can't conceivably play together depending on the opposing matchup.

Brown Tatum PG and Hayward is too many forwards.

If Brown can guard the opposing lead guard I don't think so. Few teams run lineups these days that feature big bruising 4s anymore.

Agreed. In fact I think Downtown Jaylen Brown is the biggest key for what Danny seems to be planning here, if he can defend guards it would give Stevens so many flexible line-ups depending on the matchups. Hayward is a good defender on bigger guards as well.

How many 'if and or buts' are they going to be giving Hayward in that meeting room? This 'master plan' has so many required dominoes it would be scary to be the first one and just take the leap of faith that the rest will fall.

That seems like a reach but ok.

Anyway speaking of Stephen A...I caught a portion of his radio show today and he was just wrapping up a segment about a supposed 5 team trade where Cavs would get Melo and PG.

Anyone know what the whole supposed deal was?

Some shit from SAS's ass. Right, some miracle deal where the team (without a GM) gets a deal that lands them all the parts they would want/need. Riiiiiiiiiight.

GTFOOH, SAS.
