Agreed, I was in that first batch as well. You guys really handled this perfectly, as I feel that my copy will retain its "luster" (I'm not a reseller, but there is some personal value in being able to score something like that), but others will still get to own a copy. Great win-win.

Anyone know if DD will ever do download codes on top of records? I believe they are for Sonic Mania, but I would love it for their numbered releases too. I know BraveWave does this.

I think it sounds pretty flat for such a grandiose soundtrack, but it's a really nice package. I recommend it, despite the sound not being as great as the game deserved.
...and with that, I just spent $300 on iam8bit. Jesus.
But it just goes to show -- with just a lower price and ready-to-go products, I'm a huge fan of their output.
Yes, it typically doesn't pay off unless you order in huge packages.
For example, a single LP will usually be $7-$9, but I just placed an order with 15 records and the shipping cost was only $12 for 2-day delivery.
Are you talking about the Stardew Valley versions?
If so, triple-striped is three colors, and double-striped is just a two-color split.

And ya my biggest issue with them is their prices. I've had decent transactions with them, such as Hyper Light drifter PS4 physical which was above and beyond what I expected from them imo. I just find their prices to be a bit high for what competitors offer
Damn, this'll probably be the first one I get from them in a year. Love that soundtrack. Again, not ordering until it's in stock though.

I mean, if you're a Fragile geek, it's an amazing version of the album and the records sounds fantastic; it's a must have.
But yeah, after the vinyl mission statement on their website, how it's about "turning your phone off and listening to the music while holding the album and the art," the crazy price, the delay (although technically this one juuust missed "spring"), something feels like it misfired.

I thought the whole damn point of these new NIN releases was to have definitive, deluxe editions?

Definitive, yes; and while Deviations is sort of a new album, I think with how good it sounds on top of them delaying everything to get them sounding their best, it's probably safe to say they're on track with that.
Deluxe was never stated, although the price of Deviations really led on that it should've been more than it ended up being, physical component wise, at least.
But we're going off track, so um, the Quake soundtrack should probably be in the next batch of preorders once the represses ship out in August.
