K-Pop Fanboy/Fangirl |OT7| A Great Trash Leader as Always

UK, US, Canada and SEA are what I have seen people post about. It's listed as 'Men on a Mission'. The last episode on there is the Shindong and Leeteuk episode, so they are quite far behind, they might catch up though...

Actually, looking at the episodes on there they seem to be cherry picking odd episodes and missing quite a few, so probably not going to be an alternative to other methods of watching.

I'm willing to bet it's the advertising in the show that's making them cherry pick the episodes.

The captioning can be distracting, too. It switches frequently from top to bottom, I think so as not to get in the way of the original Korean text overlays. I'd rather the subtitles defaulted to off, and could be turned on to appear only at the bottom (like most English movies/shows). Still always good to see more shows on Netflix!

Yeah, I thought Twice were phoning it in with zero new tracks for their JP debut, but at least they translated their songs and had some reshoots for the MVs.

There are some cuts in the whistle video. :p You can't really expect them to do many reshoots with those expensive MVs and many hair color changes.

The Park Sung-Woong and Chae Jung-An should be there quiet soon then.

It's up in 79 nations... so everywhere but here. Every other korean netflix drama in available tho. *cry*

That one's definitely better than the original and with 1/3 of the group being native it might have been seen as a better investment. It's also a bit late/early for a halloween themed MV in june.

Kinda surprised by this. I always assumed 2NE1 flopping in Japan was one of the reasons YG couldn't be bothered to even try to salvage the group after Boms dRUg SCandAl.

More like 10th 100th 100th 100th win.

Man I'd almost get Netflix if they'd have Running Man updated instantly.

Already considering getting Netflix for their produced series and movies. Getting Knowing Bros, Running Man, or other variety shows like Weekly Idol, would seal the deal. ODK isn't available in Norway. As it stands now, it doesn't sound like they are all-in on Knowing Bros though. I don't care about the name, but skipping episodes and listing them out of order? Not cool.

Try again.

So.........KCON LA's lineup this year looks pretty solid

Swap Astro for Seventeen and I have no reason to attend Saturday's show.

The lineup could've used 1 or 2 more girl groups but whatever.

Ehh, it would dpend on which songs that would be performed, but I would much rather go to Saturdays show. SF9 is the only group I don't care about at all on Saturday. Only interesting groups on Sunday as far as I am concerned is KARD, NCT 127 and Got7. But I definitely agree that there should have been more girl groups, but that's just kpop.

Red Flavor @ M Countdown

I've been praising their visuals a lot this comeback but after seeing this performance I'm thinking Wendy went a bit too far, she's really thin. This performance, all of them have their midriff exposed and Wendy's waist seems tiny next to the others and her ribs really stick out a lot compered to the others as well. I hope she's eating well and stays healthy, comeback schedules are so grueling and exhausting.

Yeah :( Wendy's been pretty thin before but not to this degree. I hope she'll be ok.

It doesn't help that idiots online had said she and Joy gained too much weight during one of their break periods.

I guess that's the main reason she forced herself into that, let's call it as it is, anorexic state. Wish some diarrhea upon those fucking "fans". And she had such a great body before Russian Roulette.

So I watched an episode of Knowing Bros on Netflix (episode 4 on there, which is actually episode 23 with I.O.I) and I'm kind of disappointed. Not only did they cut out scenes but every time there was a kpop song that would play during the show they would replace it with some shitty eurotrash dance music. I guess they don't have rights to the songs or something.

I don't think she forced herself, seems to be her shitty manager.

This is hilarious taking into account that they use samples of copyrighted music in k-variety shows and nobody seems to care.

Running Man and most other shows will never come to it then lol.

So people mentioning better places for Running Man subs here. There seems to be a new service in the works which is a joint venture between KBS, SBS and MBC, with the backing of Viki, Dramafever, ODK and Dramabeans. Seems like it's going to be a content platform, like what Crunchyroll did recently with VRV. One hub where you'll be able to access different channels. I'm guessing with one monthly fee. Called Kocowa. Service hasn't launched yet but they are teasing School 2017, Strongest Deliveryman, GD's tour and seem to have been subbing Running Man in preparation.

If they could manage to get tVN and OCN involved I'd sub immediately, but I'm willing to bet they won't.

Girl on the very left still catches my eye every single time I watch a Gugudan video, yet I don't her name lol.

Btw, those two pics of Kreisha Chu tripped me out and I thought I was looking at HaSeul, but HaSeul has no mole above her eye so I was hella confused. Had to reverse image search it to figure out who it was haha.

Can we have names again in the future plz?

Ohhh that's where Tina is from.

I've seen her in so many of Ashley's and Leah Kim's IG but I didn't recognize her from anywhere and thought she's a local KoreAm celeb. I didn't know she was in a K-Pop group before llol.
