I assume it'll always be showcased on Xbox One and have to use Xbobe controller or wha0tever. Probably one of them marketing deals

First day and amid all the problems with the pool DQs, DBF(z) already has its first EVO hype moment.

I'd never thought I'd see the day!

I mentioned this on the MvC:I form and I'll mention it here too: How do you hype up your fighting game? Get people who know how to play the game to showcase it so that you can get people interested in playing it.

Right now, I saw the fight with Max, and that was completely insane the things he did during his matches. This is how you get people watching your game (something to which we had not seen much out of Capcom for MvC:I, but I'm in very high hopes that we will get to see some good matches for that game shown off too this weekend. Or at least I hope so).

Why? Whoever made this decision should be slapped in the face. You're showcasing a big game at the biggest fighting games tournament of the year, lots of people use sticks there so they should try and offer both options (pad and stick).

It's probably a time issue. If you have to keep switching controllers/sticks it takes up a ton of time. They have a limited number of stations and a set amount of time to get through the tournaments. The first tournament went over by a good 30 minutes and that was without letting people switch in sticks.

Damn that's wack.

It's just something to accept because this is a legit fighting game.

I mean they COULD give everyone some temporary transformations, but at some point it just bloats the movelist and alienates the non-Sayians.

More importantly, base SSJ is pretty much the most optimal form for any of them to fight in. So Goku only going temporary SSJ3 for a finishing attack actually makes sense.

Frieza isn't too wise with his use of transformations, so i'm pretty sure that upon Golden Frieza wearing off, he's going to end up with a Sol Badguy-esque stun animation.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but we heard from AWS that they were holding back their more unorthodox characters back at E3 right? And that the 6 here were their most simple or something like that?
