I'm afraid it didn't sell that well. I often look at the player leaderboards in that game and there aren't hundreds of thousands of entries even in the first events of each Wipeout campaign (I'm assuming that the leaderboards are global, not separate for EU, US and Asia).

The Crash bandicoot PsX releases on the PSN store have consistently been in the top seller lists, apparantly...so I guess that's a sign? Also three weeks in and the title still doing well in the charts helps, I guess.

Just conjecture. I think it's a title that new PS4 owners are going to pick up along with the system. Crash has a rich history in the UK, and this is evident if you look at how it has, for years, held all the top spots in the digital charts for PS1 classics.

Recently number of PS4 titles to XBO in individual top 40 is almost 2:1 (23:12). It used​ to be identical previously, something like ~17:15

But I think number of exclusives PS4 has received recently has also played a big part in it.

The number of retail games on Xbox One that are not on PS4 this year is just embarrassingly low so far compared to the number of retail games on PS4 that are not on Xbox One.

In Square's defense, at least their remasters contain previously Japan-only content (International, Final Mix, etc)

Crazy to see the previous difference in position between PS4 and XBO Call of Duty. Complete role reversal in the UK.

It was cheap on Amazon Prime Day, and in the PS4 Pro bundle.
