I hit him with a wrench and he flew out of the map and died.

God some of the people who play this game are morons who make me embarrassed to be the same species as them.
I was about to kill this guy and he says "You can't kill what isn't there" and leaves just as the animation begins. This was right after a game where he had been Jason and everyone had played like decent human beings.
The fact some people's egos are unable to handle "losing" in a video game is some seriously pathetic shit. I'm glad I have more impulse control than the type of person who will routinely ragequit a game, like any of it even matters.
A few hours ago, killed a guy whose username was something like "TooLegit2Quit" (but spelled differently) who left immediately after being killed, at least the irony of that made it amusing.
Leaving after being killed is one thing, but doing it during the animation to intentionally rob the person playing Jason of the kill shows the kind of character (or lack thereof) these people possess. A lobby that started out with 7 ended up with 3 at the end, after I'd been Jason and played perfectly fair.
Seems like some people consider using block as Jason in combat stance to be "cheating". I love blocking flare guns, melee attacks (till their weapon breaks) and walking right over traps and disarming them in the process. Especially when they're shocked by it and appear to have no idea what just happened.
Blocking the baseball bat until it breaks (after two hits usually) is also immensely satisfying.

Always has connection issues. Just keep trying or wait till evening time when games are home and playing. Usually more people in the evenings.

Hoping someone here can shed some light on this issue I am having:
I've never used mic in this game (or any game) as I'm quite shy/introverted. At the same time, in the back of my mind I felt like it was a shame to not be playing with mic as it allows you to communicate much better and presumably just have more fun in general.
It dawned on me that the Pulse headset I bought for PS3 in 2013 would work with my PS4 and I got it set up in no time.
I'm missing the PS3 charger cable and ordered a new one which will probably come next week, so have been using it very sparingly as once the battery runs out, I won't be able to charge it again till new cable arrives.
In the short time I've spent using the headset, it seems like I can barely hear other users through it when playing the game. I've changed the audio settings in game and didn't notice a difference, and I changed the system settings under audio devices so that it plays chat audio instead of "all audio" through headset. That allows the other users to be heard clearly but will make the game audio play through soundbar instead of headset - obviously not ideal.
Is there something simple I'm doing wrong? Any tips would be appreciated...

Yea, that random teleport and kill someone in a completely different place has been happening for a while. I watch a few different Youtubers and it seems to happen to a few of them in their videos quite often.
Of course, I've noticed quite a few of the bigger streamers for this game have taken to mocking the constant issues and such not being fixed, so I feel like the lifespan of this game is going to be much shorter than it otherwise would be.

I swear I remember a tweet or something that indicated that they had brought people in specifically to try and help with those as well as the memory leak on X1.
Hell i'm sure with all the Savini Jason's they accidentally sold (*COUGH* XaeroGravity *COUGH) on PS4 they could afford to do so.

I didn't even know the game was a kickstarter. The entire thing was 99% off my radar until it came out. I didn't own the game when the Savini skin dropped by mistake or I'd have bought it. The music that is exclusive to that skin is pretty eerie. Here's hoping we get more skins with unique music like that!
I'm still having such a blast with this on PS4. Last weekend I played with SuperPac and some other regular faces from around here and the only issue we had was that no randoms seemed to join our lobby. I think the servers may have been having issues that night but it didn't really affect us because we had 6-8 people ready to play most of the time and we were able to hold down our own lobby no problem.
I even play with randoms AND use my mic, which is something I'd only done with one or two other games in the last few years (Gears of War 4 Horde and Halo 5 Firefight come to mind) so to get me to playing outside of my comfort zone like that speaks highly of this game's ability to draw you in.
I really hope they sort out their technical issues quickly here because the game is clearly a success now and I want to see it maintain its momentum as much as possible. The game is so fun and unique it deserves top notch support as do the players who jumped in and made the purchase. I want the game to do so well that they eventually patch in story mode, offline bot mode (for preservation), new maps and new skins before eventually getting a sequel where they apply everything they learned.

Exactly. Also, one would be mistaken to think there isn't anyone back at the office working on the game while they send a few people to SDCC.
