Ubisoft to announce more Switch games "quite soon"

Grow Home/Grow Up collection incoming

I would fucking SCREAM if they announced this. Grow Home was my late GOTY experience when I played it for the first time last(?) year, I haven't played Grow Up yet because I've been wanting to savor it but I would 1000000% double dip on a Switch collection. Fuck man make a third one and just release the trilogy. I'd even buy them all separately again on Switch. One of my favorite gaming experiences ever for sure.

I wonder why everyone seems to assuming it'll be a port?

Mario + Rabbids indicates that they are perfectly prepared to launch a new series on the Switch so no reason this would be another.

I'd also say says same to assume that any new Ubi Art titles will likely release on Switch as they don't tend to be the most hardware demanding titles out there.

Didn't we have a reliable insider that participated to an oinexpensive beta of a multiplayer Ubisoft game (multiplatform) supposed to come to the Switch?

Was it Steep despite it being rumored to be For Honor?

BTW I have heard rumors about possible announcements regarding Switch at Gamescon not unveiled at E3, but was supposed to be primarily first party contents/specifics for already announced games

Maybe is just Steep footage and release date..?

Southpark ran on Xbox 360. No problem for Switch.

I was referring to the new one haha. I wasn't sure if this one will be more demanding or not. It should be able to run fine on Switch if it is on the same engine as the previous. I hope it comes. Loved Stick of Truth of PC and Switch would be the perfect place to play the sequel.

Yeah it was steep.

20 years ago is relevant today how? :/

I don't believe I said it was? Just that it wasn't only Mortal Kombat, also the whole "Sega does what Nintendon't" campaign. It doesn't excuse people not realizing this type of thing isn't true today, but it explains why it was so prevalent at one time.

Ubisoft was clear they don't intend to make another Rainbow Six for 5+ years in favor of updating Siege.

Five years from now? Or five years from launch?

Either way, I dont believe this edition of Siege will be able to make it on Switch. I would love to be wrong but I dont see it, 60fps is a must in Siege imo.

I'd definitely buy South Park on Switch if I had the chance.

I have no idea what games they may be porting. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is probably one of them though.

I think the positive reception to Mario x Rabbids is giving Ubisoft more confidence in the Switch.

First three Splinter Cell remastered. Change the gameplay of the first two to be similar to that of Chaos Theory and enhance the visuals. Leave everything else untouched.

Trackmania
Zombi Switch Edition (with a multiplatform announcement of 2, set in Edinburgh)
Rayman HD Collection (Straight port of Rayman 1 and HD versions of 2 and 3)
Trials
South Park Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole

That's all I really want from Ubisoft.

south park on the go would severely increase my chances of actually playing that game (which I really want to play). Fingers crossed.

Hopefully they are looking at working on some new games and not a bunch of ports. Not sure if I would really be excited about any Ubi ports at the moment.

I only played one Splinter Cell, and it was Blacklist on WiiU... and i actually liked it a lot, caught me by surprise. I would really like to see a new SC coming to Switch. Personally, i'm not a fan of AssCreed, but i know a lot of people who do, maybe they can bring an installment to Switch, and i'd consider buying, but not per se. Would be more interested in a good port of Watchdogs 2.

A new Child of Light, i'd buy in a heartbeat. I have no interest for dance games or Raving Rabbids. I have no idea what to expect from a South Park game, should they release that.

Could see a rush port of a FPS/TPS happening.

If no one else is going to make one UBI might have a shot at being the first mature FPS/TPS on the platform.

Would Nintendo allow that content on their platforms?

It's funny the idea of Nintendo being family friendly only still exists. They basically dropped that half way through the snes life span and are now the most lenient company in terms of content. They practically allow anything on their platforms and it's up to the developer/publisher to take whatever fallout might occur due to content.

The only time Nintendo has content issues is if they are publishing the title in question and usually then it's just underage sex stuff because that shit don't fly outside Japan.
