She's a good defensive Saber, especially since her kit is geared towards healing herself and surviving for long periods of time. Her NP is also pretty decent one upgraded.

She's not exactly a broken character, but I do know that on the JP side there were playthroughs that showed how she can pretty much tank bosses on her own for 20+ turns.

No way in hell Nero is shitty lol. She is not as offensively strong as Alter Saber, but she is daaaaaaamn hard to kill. With the right setup, she is almost immortal and can even solo some bosses, in the japanese version people put her in higher rank than Alter Saber because of that.

And yes, she will get a few rate-ups later. But keep in mind that Nero is story locked, which means you can't roll her in special rate-up gachas, only in the story gacha. (for example, you couldn't roll Alter Saber or Nero in the Gilgamesh rate-up)

I liked using Nero in the Septem story stuff because you can make her Umu on demand with the command cards.

Still not spending SQ though. Maybe a ticket or two.

Definitely looking forward to being able to amass some ascension materials. Dunno how well my team will do though...I think I should really push hard to get Emiya's second ascension this weekend. Ghost Lanterns for Tamamo Cat seem to have stopped dropping after I got 4 though.

I for Nero in the Redux fest JP. Not the strongest saber but very fun to use. Might do one 10 roll for CEs. Drop one 10 roll minimum every event was my initial plan and hope for some event CEs to make farming a tad easier

It's not a class basis. Anyway you can follow this link, click the Servant you want and it'll give you a list of materials they'll for Ascension and improving their skills.

Looks like AP will be the biggest issue, but I am sure you need an "okay" team to beat the 30AP one's. I assume you'll face something similar to what you get in the 40AP dailies.

Kind of what I figured, but was curious, as I focused mostly on Levels and QP during 1/2 AP promotion. Thus leaving a lot of my best Servants with only their first Ascension done. So looking forward to the event to try and get some work done on Ascensions for them.

Figured my farming schedule for the event, I´ll do every quest once for the rewards and then:
Qualifier - Expert for Claw of Chaos (need 8)
Main Match - Advanced for Phoenix Feather (need 5 )
Finals - Advanced and Expert (ugh) for Serpent Jewels (5) and Dragon´s Reverse Scale (2)

Hopefully I can iron out the bronze medals on the main match since that´s when I´ll need less drops.
Finals are looking rough since there will be 2 quests I need. Most likely I´ll skip Jewels in favor of Scales.

Not really.

It's Battle Continuation in CE form, but Battle Continuation A (better than this CE's baseline effect) is so common it's already on every servant who needs it.
