I think a lot of people aren't realising this guy is deleting his own old anti-trump tweets, not Trump's. I doubt Trump would allow any one to take his 'voice' away.
This guy just seems like a real salesmen type. Let's see how long he lasts. That Futurama pic of 'Steve Castle' perfectly captured this guys vibe.

Didn't know who Scaramucci was but after his ass kissing presser, these two posts capture my feelings about him perfectly.
Who knows...maybe reality hit him one day and he realized how insane he sounded in his tweets and put someone else in charge of them.
It's amazing that people are willing to throw their reputation out the window to work for Trump.
Like the one universal truth of working for Trump is that you are going to come out the other side smelling like shit and being a joke. And the more public your role, the more that will be true

Isn't that illegal? I'm pretty sure that all of the president's correspondence has to be saved, regardless of format.
They deleted that the day it was posted. What made it funnier is that he left it up for hours.
@POTUS tweets have to be preserved under the law, but Trumps own personal account that he uses for his rants isn't covered by that law afaik. It's legal to delete tweets from that account.

People on the internet are often wrong. The tweet was deleted 5 hours after it was tweeted.

I dunno, I think if it were put to the test, the tweets would probably be considered some sort of presidential record and need to be kept.
Regardless, they aren't going anywhere. Internet doesn't work that way. If and when they're needed in court, they'll be there.

They can still be kept without being in his actual Twitter feed/history.
He's not deleting them anyway, so it's not an issue regardless.

Well what's old shit? If he tweeted something negative about Trump 10 years ago, I think you'd have a point. But I know in 2015-16 there are clips of him basically destroying Trump, saying things like it would ruin the Republican party for him to be elected. That's relevant as far as I'm concerned as it shows his character and what a hypocrite he is.

It appears to be the case. Considering that Trump is his own worst enemies as President this should be good.
