Actually, Pyre is a soccer game.

So, it's like a good blitzball?

Speaking of good soccer games:

BEHOLD THE KICKMEN is a football game made by someone who has no understanding of, or interest in, what is affectionately known as "The Wonderful Game". Start at the bottom of the Big Boring Football Spreadsheet and grind your way up to become the best at the football anyone's ever seen.

Played 7 Mages for a few minutes, it's a dungeon crawler and it's on sale right now. It won't run well on my crappy notebook unless I turn the graphical settings way down. I'll keep it, but I'll wait until I buy a new desktop.

The opening has some nice art. I heard the plot (based on Seven Samurai, by Kurosawa) doesn't really go anywhere, but I think it works well to set the mood.

I'm still on the fence on Pyre, gonna have to wait and see a bit more, even after I watched the dev playthrough.

I'm not entirely sold on the ritual "sports" game.

Any opinions on Northgard; worth it at 25% off or wait for more (and if not any good Viking based strategy games?)

It's ok. It's like AoE basically, but not. It borrows ideas from AoE series + Civ - tries to get the best of both, but in my opinion it isn't as fleshed out right now.

They just released a new clan, so been playing that a bit. Can't give you a detailed review because I haven't technically finished the game (different scenarios to win like in AoE or Civ).

Ta. Might hold off then till it's cheaper and more content filled. Will stay on my wishlist.

Humble Bundle should spice things up, once in a while. Why not have a "Proud Expensive Bundle", where they put in a bunch of new AAA games, and the minimal price is 69.99 * X, where X would be the number of games. You would be able to pay less, but wouldn't get anything, and of course would be free to give more. Furthermore, the only charity available should be Humble itself.

I dont know. I thinkt the bundles last time were quite nice.

Especially the SekaiProject bundle or, if no one has the games, the TellTale bundle.

Ah yes, the good old unHumble Moneygrab Bundle.

Just noticed that this month is the first of this year where I didn't purchase a new game. Would have been Cold Steel before it got delayed.

Maybe we'll get a God Eater clone eventually :p
grr

Proposal:
Make it an RPG with a spell cast failure mechanic. Akko has a .1% chance of succesfully casting spells. Gameplay will be sitting in lessons and having to keep Akko awake, as well as casting the same spell over and over again until it's successful in order to pass subjects. There is no progression.
There will also be various boss-fights or events where you have to use the Shiny Rod. Those are quicktime events.

double grrr

i just want it to be a puzzle/exploration game with lots of sidequests so you can get to know all the characters like it should be

little witch academia is not about killing shit, it's about characters and adventure and wonder

Are feeling well, Ban Puncher? You haven't technically posted anything truly, egregiously Anime so far. I'm worried.

I think what Ban Puncher is trying to say is that he's confirming that Little Witch Academia game will be coming out on Steam as well as PS4.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Don't you have to sell a certain amount to get cards now or something

I'm fairly certain known quantities are whitelisted. I received a card drop in Rime and Tekken 7 in the time it took me to make their respective PC performance threads.
