Again, this is literally not news or anything to be outraged about. The person who backed the game got a digital copy of the game for $20 and paid extra for a physical retro style game box. I don't even know why they were expecting a physical copy of the game when
that didn't even exist yet. If anything this thread should serve as a highlight to the embarrassment of the person on twitter who had almost four years to read a small amount of text that listed what they were getting
twice. If you checked for more details (like it asked you to do) you would've seen this:
I am unsure how this could be misconstrued. Did they think they would be getting a Famicom or NES copy of the game? Did they think they would get a physical Japanese PS3 version or something? Also to those complaining that you have to assemble the box, what did you even want? An assembled game box that would arrive crushed? Seriously.
The only thing embarrassing about the physical box is that the manual cannot fit inside of it, how long it took to arrive, and the game associated with it.
