Kojima vs Okada is one of my fave matches so far. loved how Okada played the heel, attacking Tenzan with the crowd booing him. and for a moment I thought Cozy is gonna beat him.

Really glad they've given Goto 2 main events so far.

So who else is watching all of the G1, even the tags?
Checking in.

As I will be enroute to the Outer Banks when it airs, I'm going to go ahead and post the card for tomorrow's show.

(1) Michael Elgin & David Finlay vs. SANADA & BUSHI
(2) Toru Yano & Jado vs. EVIL & Hiromu Takahashi
(3) Minoru Suzuki & Taichi vs. Tama Tonga & Yujiro Takahashi
(4) Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Kenny Omega & Chase Owens
(5) Juice Robinson & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Kazuchika Okada & Gedo
(6) G1 A BLOCK MATCH: Togi Makabe vs. Yuji Nagata
(7) G1 A BLOCK MATCH: Kota Ibushi vs. Bad Luck Fale
(8) G1 A BLOCK MATCH: Hirooki Goto vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
(9) G1 A BLOCK MATCH: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. YOSHI-HASHI
(10) G1 A BLOCK MATCH: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Tetsuya Naito

Obviously Naito vs. Ishii is the standout, but we also get a Goto/ZSJ rematch, Ibushi vs. Fale which should be interesting, Tanahashi vs. Y-H should be great with Y-H playing the underdog, and old guys smacking the shit out of each other in Nagata vs. Makabe.

Catching up at the moment, and Okada/Elgin is so good, the reversal rainmaker is gross as hell.

Okada easily the best in the world right now.

I keep going back on forth on Omega and Okada being the best. Which in a way makes me feel like they're BOTH the best.

And the G1 match between them is gonna be godlike.

Yeah, it's been amazing. Yano getting out-Yano'd should make him eventually snap and become a submission machine for his last match in the tournament or something.

*double checks card*

OK, maybe not against Suzuki....

Yea how he opened the match by leading the crowd into a Kojima chant and then immediately turning around and belting him was great.

That shit eating grin when he got the ref to kick Tenzan out of the ring, him chuckling during the boos when he did the Rainmaker pose.

Magnifico.

what'll happen if there's a tie at the top spot on the block? Like if both Kenny Omega and Okada have just 1 loss while everyone else has at least 2?

So who pins Okada? The more wins he gets the more likely it seems that Kenny will beat him.

I think so. I reckon Kenny is losing another one beforehand, Kenny beats Okada and Okada goes onto win it with Kenny finally getting his win and Okadas only black mark in the entire competition.

Watching the EVIL match against suzuki; as much as I like wrestlers that are themselves and get over, character wrestlers are even better.

The only person left who even has a chance seems to be Suzuki.

If he doesn't do it then yes, it's probably Omega who's gonna get the W.

I'm pretty sure Omega's winning to set up Okada/Omega 4 at King of Pro Wrestling in October. Plus by then Okada will only be a few days away from breaking Hashimoto's record for longest single reign so they'll probably play that up too.

I'm catching up on the last couple of days and holy heck is Juice going to be one of the most over babyfaces there by the end of this thing. His selling makes the Japanese crowd adore the guy.

edit: I'm not sure if I'm okay with being picked up and briskly standing on your feet 1 second after a tombstone piledriver for a rainmaker.
