Remind me what chapter 6 was?
Yakuza 0 spoilers:
Kuze in the sewers on a fucking motorcycle, stumbling into the disco with Awano, then the scene in the forest with Nishiki, all back to back. I hadn't played the game in about a month and that was one hell of a series of events to come back to.

I only just started chapter 7 so noooo spoilers anyone!

What if I told you, you ain't seen shit yet?

Ehhhh.

I guess I can see it.

But not as a way better fit.

Not with Raven and Kat in the game.

I'm still super early but man, I just had a brawl where my ragtag community all cheered me on and celebrated and then we on a flying aircity set sail for another air city where I walk up to bright colors and happy music. Plus there was some environmentalism in the first game and I'm sure it's back here.

Oooh yeah you're pretty early on.

I probably should get back to finishing it.

Beat Tacoma, Pyre, and Dream Daddy this week. All of them are great in their own way and I'd wholeheartedly recommend any of them. EDIT: Oh, and Sundered. Also good, but I know some people have complaints about the combat. It's not very intricate or technical. You basically mash buttons, which was totally okay with me.

The mashy combat and ridiculous enemy numbers of Sundered remind me of Dust: An Elysian Tale, except with waaaay better art.

Ah yes, those were great.

My favorite moment in that game is definitely the last boss though.

I don't have strong feelings about kingdom heartache, don't think I'd watch every episode but I might tune in every now and then. I do think though, that this idea that I am genuinely unsure if this series exists or not is a really crappy thing to do to your viewers. Especially the ones out there who might have been genuinely excited for this.

I am pretty excited for that xcom thing or whatever though.

the xcom thing was announced today, earlier than they had planned, as a trump-like distraction to avert our attention away from the kingdom hearts fiasco

Those moments were so good. It's crazy how many great moments there are in that game! I'm very glad GB played through it, I wouldn't have been exposed to it otherwise and it was awesome!

Pretty excited to see this new xcom feature, lot of good potential there. Also o bet the west guys have something cooking. I enjoy all of GB (not every video necessarily but the personalities) and look forward to what they put out.

I'm not a fighting game guy, but does it seem like GB is overly negative about SFV? They keep adding shit and all I hear is how the game was missing content at launch.

Yeah, I'm still confused. I went back several pages of this thread thinking I'd get an answer, and I'm still not sure what they're doing with KH.

The last thing i saw was Ben claim technical difficulties was the reason for no episode so i'm wondering why it suddenly became chicken little in here. *shrug*

So they can't stream KH due to "technical difficulties" but they spent like 40 minutes last week to get Dota going. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Nah, I'm glad Ben confirmed it's a series. Otherwise it would've been truly awful.

Not an expert either but if you fuck up your launch window like it sounds SFV did I wouldn't exactly expect people to give you latitude further down the line.

They ended the first episode ambiguously, Brad has dodged any question regarding the series in the interim, and then they 'canceled' the second episode due to some easily dismissable 'technical difficulties,' and you still believe this is a real series.

They got a live one here.

I actually don't care about this.

Thing about fighting games is that it's kinda hard to jump into a scene midway through because that's when most of the casual fanbase is gone and you're only left with the killers.

I feel like this is truer for fighting games than most other competitive games just due to the learning curve.

So if your initial jump in isn't great you're going to be left feeling cold about it.

I mean, it doesn't even make sense to just play the first 40 minutes or so of KH. That's not even the real game.

The rest I'd shrug off as their "but for real you guyz Kingdom Hearts is garbage lolz" stick.

Before the first episode Ben tweeted that they were going to do a "completely normal and regular" play through of Kingdom Hearts which seems like a weird thing to specify especially when the first episode did in fact appear to be completely normal and regular. And then it ended with them being weird about having another episode. And then the second episode was canceled.

So either it's a weird joke nobody gets or Brad is leaving.

My Galaxy brain thought on Kingdom Heartache is that Ben and brad skip episodes. They just jump through the games, acting like they've gone through them and pretending like they're invested.

Kingdom Heartache episode 2 will just start at like, Monstro.

I really wanna know why Ben insists that it's a normal play through

I never made the connection that Polygon dude was the old GB intern Nick. Cool to find this out at the same time I find out he sucks. 😎
