A procedural mission system, trade improvements, system economies, sounds damn great if true. I mean, it still depends on how it's implemented, but man, sounds exciting.

Ya'll gonna be mad when they reveal that they renamed Space bars on space stations to "joints".

They are certainly there, and they are not hills. I wish I had recorded the time I crash landed on a planet (I had my PS4 settings on 3 minutes and missed it). My ship was marked almost underneath me and I was pissed that it was making me walk around the planet. As it turns out, I was walking up a barely perceptible incline and suddenly found myself with a slope I could have skied down.

If anyone has seen Sean talk at GDC, you might remember him talking about amplifying features with a technique they didn't use. I hope the do use it.

I have never come across what I would call a mountain so far. Not saying you are imagining things, you probably played a lot more after the update. I will definitely play again after this update and see what awaits. Also, I'm from Austria where we are spoiled when it comes to mountains. A Dutch person would probably be asking for flatter planets.

yeah it kinda seems like a stretch but I can't imagine what else it could mean, it certainly seems feasible enough

I'm expecting Friday as I said before, it was a two day wait from the memo to the notes/release with previous patch as well. This "leak" lines up well.

-It's legit too. On the main NMS website, they had an article dated 8/11 with the same information. But the link is currently password protected and hidden.

In fact, they just removed it entirely.

I have a feeling portals are going to be linked to the joint exploration, some sort of lobby system or something where you can see other players on a map or a list and join up with them
