Dany is and always has been the obvious choice to take the throne

Now that we are heading quickly to resolving that I feel like I want anyone but her on the throne. If she goes crazy and is the final boss of the whole plot line, I'm good with that.

Jon ain't come to bend no knee.

Gendry is 100% dead. They basically brought him back just to wrap up his story. When you think about it that applies to almost everyone going with Jon. None of their stories feel like there's much left to them (except maybe Tormund and the Hound) it's why I think they are all dead.

Disagree. Bringing him back is going to have some significance.

1.) he's a master weapon maker
2.) he still technically has a legit claim to the kingdom.
3.) He will forfeit his claim and will side with John. Uniting the kingdoms.

I get the impression Dany is way more into Jon than he is into her

Not according to Ser Davos.

Disagree. Bribing him back is going to have some significance.

2.) he still technically has a legit claim to the kingdom.
3.) He will forfeit his claim and will side with John. Uniting the kingdoms.

Yes I think that he's a master weapon maker and they happen to need skilled blacksmiths to make weapons from dragonstone can be endgame important. Also, not to play it down, he has some claim to the throne. It's not very strong, but it's there.

Oh, also forgot how funny it was that Gilly was basically telling Sam about Jon being a Targaryen before he interrupted her.

I need a Gif of the team

Is cersie lying right?
Her and Qyburn were discussing it before Jaime came in. I doubt she's lying. I don't see how that would benefit her.

Don't you guys find the idea of bringing a zombie as proof to the south idiot as fuck? The Night King's power doesn't reach that far into the south yet (not even across the Wall). They will bring the zombie only for him to fall dead again because he is not being controlled anymore.

We don't know how his magic works, but we'll see. It might be that taking the wight south allows the WWs to extend their power south too, perhaps bringing the worst of winter there early. I'm pretty sure it was said that they bring winter with them....unless I'm confusing them with the Witcher 3 cold guys.

Trust me, you will be pleased. They fucker is getting Sanrya'd.

He'll set a trap for the two of them only to be pecked to death by a murder of crows.

Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!
I love the Hound basically skipping the dialogue completely and basically going "We gonna be that squad or???"

They went full fanfiction mode by forcing him to use a hammer.

It's not a stretch he'd use the hammer after finding out who his father was. Find out your father was really a king, read up all the stories that glorify him in battle with a hammer. Also easier to use than a sword I imagine.

So basically, Jon and Tyrion the only ones outside of Dany who won't get their heads bitten off by the dragons. I know why for Danny and Jon, obviously. But why Tyrion...

She's gonna find out he's her nephew she's not going to marry her nephew. Not saying that doesn't happen in GoT but I don't see her doing it.

Does anything indicate that Dany is repulsed by incest? Targs have been marrying each other for a hell of a long time. If she likes Jon then imo her being his aunt isn't going to stop her from marrying him.

Do you think Jon in Dany's position would've burned them alive with a Dragon or executed them with the sword himself? Which do you think Cersei would've done?

Do you think if Jon was in Dany's position and Davos told him Jon, lock these people in a dungeon they'll change their minds he'd be like fuck that burn them?

I'm not saying Jon is better. I'm not saying Cersei is better.

I'm just saying that Dany isn't better. And overall, I'm okay with that. I'm just tired of Dany acting like she's better than everyone who's come before.

Do you watch this show and skip the dialogue here and there? First episode Jon point blank states that Lord Karstark and Umber would have been executed had they been alive. He tells Theon the only reason he's not dead is because of what he did for Sansa. Tarlys would have been executed, and I doubt Jon would have given them a way out. Had the Tarlys betrayed a House loyal to the Starks or the Starks themselves, they would have died. It's no different than the Karstarks and Umber.

So is your problem the method of execution? Because if it is, Drogon killed them in seconds flat. Hanging would have taken longer, and only beheading would have been quicker. Sure as shit beats eaten alive by dogs though right? Or do you think Jon left Ramsay for Sansa to have a chat with and didn't know she was going to kill him?

I really wanted Jorah to mention he was cured by samwell tarly. Would have liked to see the look on Dany's face

I'm still waiting for Jon to tell Dany he served with her uncle at the Night's Watch. That would've been a nice surprise for her.

Or I guess great uncle (?)

Oh shit.. nice one.

So, Jon is going to attract the dragons up north when they sense he is in peril and he will be saved. Then the Night King will use them to burn the wall down or some shit.

Bringing a zombie south as proof seems very logical to me. Does anyone even know about the boundaries of the Night King's power? It's certainly not something that I'm familiar with.

I honestly think their mission will mess up and they'll end up trapped or something.

Jon probably wouldn't had he known, he'd leave that up to Sam, would probably make them join the Nights Watch...but bringing that into the argument is stupid since to Dany they are no one, they're traitors who turned their back on Olenna and now refused to bend the knee.

No, I get it, and in this case it just makes your "what would jon/dany" do even worse since, well, I just wrote about that.
this would only be if Jon was there but otherwise yeah she's nobody to her. She just made an example of them. But to the bolded, since I'm the one misunderstanding perhaps you can explain further?
The dad that told Sam fuck off or I'll kill you during a hunt? The dad stripped Sam of all his inheritance and rights due to hating his eldest son? Yeah, Tarly's would have been executed. Ned Stark didn't even hesitate to execute the oath breaking Night's Watchman.
I don't think Sam despises his dad enough to want to see him dead.

Ah, goddamnit. Can't believe the show runners went with the "Rhaegar and Lyanna were actually married and Gilly found it in the records of the Maester who records everything."

Did you catch it when he was walking away from his room and Arya was sneaking in?

So annoying.

Yeah. The whole tailing scene just seemed so convenient. It just felt too easy. I know someone mentioned it already, but I feel like maybe Arya is also playing Little finger. I mean the smart thing to do would be to spy on him wearing the face of someone else. I dread the thought of Little finger getting Sansa back on his side.

If the Night King's power reached as far as the south he wouldn't even need to cross the Wall at all. Just revive all the dead soldiers during any war and win.
