Nice, so i guess they finally found publisher for Rune 2 and going to officially announce it? Concept art and prototypes that i saw in 2013 were great, it's about time to show something to public. I'm not insider, just hoping for best case scenario because it could be just simple port of original Rune on mobile devices or something like that, there is absolutely no indication that they'll show sequel they've been working on for last 4 years.

COMING SOON

Human Head is currently working on 6 new unannounced projects, spanning multiple platforms including next-gen consoles, PC F2P, mobile, and VR. Stay tuned!

That's just straight from their own website. Rune is one of my favorite games ever but I wouldn't get too excited...

It's just an aggressive way of making it more palatable for people with arachnophobia. Now instead of panic, it might create a different physical reaction.

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?
You know, when people said they turned Shelob into a sexy spider girl, I was expecting a lot more...I dunno. Chitinous nipple pasties.

but sadly it's happened three or so times and exploring without the map feels really bad

Is it really "exploring" if you have a map? *Philosoraptor.jpg*

:p

Jokes aside, I can see your angle but I like the idea of going in semi blind to this subterranean world. Adds a sense of danger and risk. Can't just rush in without considering your next step.

I think "relief" is a valid emotion to tap into in games like this too. The rush of relief after I finally
beat the Mantis Lords
was amazing.

Looking at that Just Survive these I came to think, how are Rust and The Forest coming along? Long time since there's been any discussion about it.

Rust is plugging away doing it's own thing, it seems to have a pretty rabid and constant fan base, not sure how close it is to 1.0 but I feel it's got a ways to go, The Forest has a single player campaign that was just released I believe, haven't played in a while but it seems like they are making pretty decent progress from the updates I see and reddit discussions.

Got the tales of wuxia prequel since its on sale for release and probably wont be again. Gotta wait till they fix the English according to reviews.

Caved in and got war of the chosen for xcom 2 since its dlc and 25% off (green man gaming) is pretty good. Maybe it will be 33% off maximum in the future since the current trend is no cheap dlc.

They released the xcom 2 poster maker stand alone today if anyone wants to try it out.

I can answer the rust one!

Garry (Who isn't leading rust, Woo go Helk!) helped announce their (updated) roadmap for rust within the last two weeks actually!

https://rust.facepunch.com/roadmap/

They still do "minor" updates every week on thursday and a big update of changes every first thursday of the month when all servers wipe

Plus look at this sexy beast

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Hide... "Mixed rating items... Negative rating items". Is this an Enhanced Steam thing or a Steam thing?

That entire "Hide" dialog on the right hand side of search results is Enhanced Steam

Wow. I'm very delighted to hear both games are apparently doing well. I'm gonna go install both of them right away, you guys made me super curious. I'm gonna check out your links too!

speaking of survival games, Darkwood is out tomorow (17th, its already the 16th here damn it!), genuily excited for this, the little I played aaaaaaaages ago was already fantastic, and from the steam reviews, it seems it continued to be great (steam reviews have no problem ripping EA games to shreds when they dont deliver after a long time afterall).

Well everyone in Rust is still an asshole so yeah be forewarned but they're working on cool stuff. I'd just read through the Devblogs and maybe go onto a community server that is like a 10x or something if you want to mess around in game.

I generally play with a group of friends, Solo isn't great on regular servers because of the time sink unless you know what you're doing. Even then it's a chore.

Also since I guess everyone is talking about Early Access stuff the grand dad of early access games DayZ Standalone is supposedly glomping along and approaching their .63 marker which would include their new player controller
Which is big for them because that would essentially at least according to them put them out of the alpha stage and into the beta stage of things so they would than be able to go faster on updates. (Right.)

Just played for agents of mayhem for 1 hour on PC and I am enjoying it. Pretty fun game.

I have a ryzen 5 1600, 16gb ram, GTX 1080 and 1440p I was getting 70fps on ultra settings and 110 to 120 on high settings. V sync off because I use my 144hz monitor that has gsync. It seems this game is not optimized and very demanding according to multiple PC gamers

Yeah I played it for about three hours today and it is pretty fun. 980ti, 8GB Ram, i5 2500k at 1440p I get 60 most of the time with a mix of high and ultra with it dipping to 50 when things get really hectic. Some things here and there I wish were a little better but I'm enjoying how each character plays, the swapping is awesome and makes me want to use every character and I love the 80s cartoon vibe the game has.

That King of Scales level in Hand of Fate is crazy. Trying to beat the king first while all the adds are on you...whew! I'm getting myself more tokens along the way but geez, I sure hope I can luck out soon.

What's wrong with sexy spider abominations, everyone wants a piece of the Dark Souls pie.
Iron Harvest teaser trailer coming tomorrow. Company of Heroes-inspired RTS set in an alternate 1920s with mechs
Mechs? Say no more.

Actually, say a little more. Is it going to have the more action-oriented approach and destructibility of COH? If so, sold.

Here I am trying to save money and The Witness is $11 on steam.

I wish I could give you my copy. I thought it was going to be like what RIME ended up being, but instead it's just walking around going from line puzzle to the next line puzzle. Graphics are gorgeous but my god that shit is mind numbingly boring.

I bought Deep Space Waifu during the summer sale because it showed up during my queue or something, I dunno, I own it now is what's important. I have it installed. I haven't touched it but it updates like every day and it's annoying.

Destructibility is a big focus based on their Facebook posts. Also focused on a smaller squad scale/unit based approach a la COH

Ohh man. Thanks for the info, this looks great.

Steam should hurry up and patch the ultra-sluggish client issue. It shouldn't be one has to go into the settings each time to clear the web cache as a temporary solution (even when constantly in offline mode).

Are you having trouble with the puzzles or are they too easy?

The art for that is great, I found out about it yesterday and was going through it all

It's done by Jakub Rozalski

Oh, this is the one based on the art of Scythe. I will have to check that out.

I thought it made sense when I read about it that they added a spider girl since it would be one of the only appealing things about the game but then saw she was just a human and realized of course they'd screw everything up.
