Daniel Craig will return as James Bond.

Hell yea! Give me another movie like Skyfall and Craig will go down as the best Bond.

Well...Sean Connery is great...so maybe not... But he'll at least be number 2!

After Spectre? Nah, I'm good.

Unless he's actually going to put effort into this next film. Then I'll be fine with it.

Like I've said in another thread, they need to Logan this final Craig chapter and strip it back down to bare essentials and brute force like in Casino Royale. Have him be retired and then hunted. Put him through absolute hell and give him a real struggle and battle of wills with a worthy opponent, someone just like him.

I was hoping for a Blofeld trilogy (and for him to tie Roger Moore for second most films) but oh well, here's hoping he goes out on a high note

Except don't make it gratuitously violent like Logan.

He looked so bored in Spectre.

I hope he's more into it this time.

Well, it was weird. Cause it was fine, but the last 4th of the movie, i legit thought he was like brainwashed or taken over by a clone or something. He really did seem like he didnt give a fuck and something was wrong. I was actually really surprised when it turned out nothing was wrong and he was just Bond. Even the story seemed to build in some doubt as to what was up with him.

Never saw Spectre. What was so bad about it? Loved Casino Royale and Skyfall. Quantum was fine but forgettable.

It was fine for the most part but there were some bizarre plot twists and acting problems that made it seem uneven. Not a disaster but about on the same level of quantum.

Everything. Story didn't make any sense, even for a Bond film, Blofeld was dumb and completely wasted, same for Moneypenny, who seemed like a somewhat interesting character in Skyfall, lots of the dialogue was ridiculous -- and it had no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

brace yourselves for the movie that could beat Diamonds are Forever, Die Another Day and A View To a Kill to be the worst Bond movie of all time.

i hope they buck that trend and Craig's final entry is better than his past ones. it would be history for the franchise also.

It better be one hell of a high note. That Jackie Chan+Pierce Brosnan movie by Martin Campbell is done, bring back the Casino Royale director.

Don't need a trilogy, they just need to open it like
On Her Majesty's Secret Service's ending
. Especially after that sappy ending in SPECTRE.

I think you're right in that they are about even, I would say where Quantum is more structurally sound it's also terribly middling and forgettable.

Quantum of Solace is already my least favourite Bond film, so from where I'm standing, Craig's already got that locked down, no matter how good or bad the next film is.

I haven't seen the last two, though, but I remember hearing a lot of praise for Skyfall.

Moore is absolutely better than Brosnan. Same act, more charisma.

Can't agree. Brosnan and Moore are absolutely the two Bonds most similar to one another, but Brosnan does everything Moore did well better, and does none of the things Moore did poorly anywhere near as poor.

Moore? Charisma? If anything it was creepy watching this tubby 60 year old Mack on women 1/3 his age. Shit still makes me uncomfortable.

Brosnan has far more charisma than Moore ever did. He actually has the face and body to pull off suave but clever and pithy.

Moore was just a doughy out of shape buffoon by his runs end.

Quantum isn't even bottom 10 Bond.

None of Craig's Bonds hit the bottom ten.

Two of em are Top 5, arguably.

Only Connery could maybe say the same about that top 5, but Connery also has at least two in that bottom 10, maybe even three.

You guys think Craig doesn't give a fuck, you should get a load of Connery starting with Thunderball

The same day as that radio announcement that it wasn't final yet? Was he just saving the announcement for Colbert then?

You Only Live Twice is legitimately embarrassing to watch. Pitiful performance and a wretched film.

All of them check out by the end cept Dalton for obvious reasons, but my Lord was that the worst. And nobody in show bidness half asses it like Sir Sean Connery.
