The fighting style of Android 17 being a clone of Android 18? I'm not sure you know what you're talking about.

I think they mean they'll both probably follow a similar archtype. The biggest difference between them is 17's shield and his ability to combine with another 17. Like if asked who would make for a more unique fighter 16 or 17 I'd probably go with 16.

I'm more disappointed that SSB Goku and Vegeta aren't in their Revival of F outfits more than anything to be honest, by being in their latest Super outfits (or their BoG ones, whatever) it really brings the point of them being pallet swaps home.

I need 16 footage tho, dude was a beast in Super DBZ, can't wait to see what ArcSys gives him.

Also are there really people shocked Super is represented in this game? It's popularity assures it. And it makes sense to have two separate slots for Blue Vegeta and Goku.

Can't wait until they introduce Beerus and hopefully a ton of other Super characters via DLC.

16 makes perfect sense, Im kinda bothered by the Blue characters though, especially Vegeta since he hasn't done anything new in his blue form so its kinda wasted. They can play around with Goku and Kaioken, maybe your health slowly decays while you gain speed and damage + access to a lv3 super.

Goku's there cause that was Gohan's most impactful moment and Goku was "part" of it.

18 Doesn't really have anything like that with 17.

17 is one of the most likely DLC characters though.

Designing the moveset for the Androids must be a nightmare, doubly so if you don't want to mix up the present and future ones. Between 17 and 18 their only interesting Ki attack is 17's energy shield and all of the cool physical moves were a team combo from the future Androids (which is probably why Accel Dance or a variation of it is 18's Ult in just about every DB game I ever played). Breaking Vegeta's arm was iconic, but you can't build a moveset just off that.
