If by more of the same you mean more depressing scenes than yes, it is.

I'd say the show's only gotten better in quality as it's gone on. Season 3 was fantastic. The underwater episode is one of the best things I've ever scene in a show.

I can understand that. The penultimate episode of the last season hit me hard. I still love the show though. At its darkest, it remains one of the most heartfelt shows I've ever watched.
