Big Brother 19 |OT| Fake Apples, Real Snakes

They are all so mindless and some of them are completely useless (I'm looking at you Raven). This would have been so much more exciting had some of them gotten together to flip on Paul but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Kinda hard to fault Paul's underlings when they're still in the game and Paul's enemies are not. Still time for them to make a move. At least one is guaranteed to go up this week and that should bring out some aggression.

I wish that table would have broken under Cody's weight.

What I don't get is how Matt and Raven seem so secure. It is obvious the house is clearing out the showmances, so after Mark, they seem to be the obvious target. But they seem so calm.

Killthee

helped a brotha out on multiple separate occasions!
Was there drama when Cody gave his speech / left?

I slept through it. D:
During his vote speech he told raven, Matt, and Paul that Alex and Jason had come to him this week to setup plans to get each of those three out this week. When Julie questioned him on it he said it was all lies and he only said it to stir shit in the house and have to group go after each other for once.

Okay. Show has about a week left to get Paul or this season is too easy to predict. Right now it looks like this is the boot order:

Mark
Kevin
Raven
Matt
Jason
Christmas
Josh
Alex
Paul

No surprises at all.

You forgot Kevin. I would guess he's after Mark.

I'm always late with the Thursday show. I don't get the show live.

I'm already done with Mr. Extreme. STFU already.
Elena getting dog piled gives her heartburn? Really? I'm not liking that person.
Was that victim noises I heard from Cody?

Jesus what a limp Double Eviction that was, I *need* a flip on Paul ASAP (I could see Christmas, Josh, Mark and Kevin going for it?)

Absolutely predictable once the HOH comp was a winner pick'em.. hasn't been a good double in years.. not sure why there is even hype for them any more.

So things are about to get interesting....

Derrick (winner of season 16) is currently in the house filming for a special episode to be aired tonight.

The thing is Derrick absolutely hates Paul. It all started when Paul turned on Paulie last season (remember it was Paul who convinced Victor to nominate Paulie and thus Paulie was evicted), and for those that aren't aware the Califiore family is like family to Derrick (Paulie's brother is Cody, who was Derrick's closest ally in his season).

All season long Derrick has also been tweeting negatively about Paul. It's clearly not just game related...he has a strong personal distaste for Paul.

Derrick also has a MASSIVE ego and I can totally see he feels threatened by the thought of Paul being crowned the best Big Brother player in recent years. Derrick doesn't want to share the title of Big Brother legend puppet-master with anyone else.

I seriously think things are about to shake up in the house, as I truly believe Derrick is in the house hinting to houseguests to get Paul out.

It's petty, but Derrick is a petty person and jealous of anybody who plays a good game since he won his season.

Derrick used to tell people that if they went against his interests, that was like taking food out of his kids' mouths. Dude has a super entitled attitude.

Exactly.

And also don't forget Paulie last season was always going on and on about Derrick coaching him on how to win.

Paulie was supposed to be Derrick's protege, and Paul ended up being the reason Paulie's game blew up into a million little pieces. It was basically a slap in the face for Derrick that his mentoring didn't get Paulie far in the game.

Even thought it's been a year...Derrick, Paulie, Cody, Cody & Paulie's dad..etc still tweet about their dislike for Paul. The lot of them are bitter as fuck!!

I really hope production prevent any outside influence interfering with what's going on in the house...but like I said, Derrick has a massive chip on his shoulder when it comes to Paul and I can see him ignoring any orders not to talk game with the houseguests.

I know people in here dislike Paul, but the guy was a constant target last season and always managed to get out of it. Derrick's season was full of idiots, and Paul is having the same luck this season, lol. Be a shame if they allow his salty ass to spoil it.

It's interesting how nearly every single former houseguest is massively trashing Paul on social media, and I think I have figured out why.

They are jealous!!!

Paul has single-handily turned Big Brother (a prime-time CBS show with millions upon millions of viewers every episode) into "The Paul Show". They WISH they were in Paul's shoes.

It's all about Paul..Paul..Paul, and they are furious that whilst Paul is shining in the lime-light for the second year in a row (and this year, the show's all about him), they themselves as former houseguests are completely fucking irrelevant and most likely unemployed or working shitty jobs.

Do I think the millions of people watching Big Brother love Paul? NO!!! Do they hate Paul? NO!!!

But they absolutely LOVE to HATE him. He's the one bringing all the drama, and that's why the show is rating so damn well (the highest ratings in 3 years!!!)

My attitude is that production giveth and production taketh away. The rest of this season will be boring if Paul just socially steamrolls the rest of the house. Production saved Paul from an early exit, and I wouldn't raise an eyebrow if they made life a little tougher for him now that his enemies are evicted.

Derrick has nothing to worry about. No one will ever touch his flawless season.

Production saved Paul from an early exit

I have no idea why people think that Paul would have been sent out the door if he didn't have the 4 week protection? He's proven himself to be very manipulative, and was even able to flip the house that first week into blindsiding the HOH and to save Christmas (Paul's ally) and have Jillian evicted instead.

It's also funny how people seem to forget how Big Brother legend Dan Gheesling also had protection from eviction when he returned, or last year when the four vets had to captain their own teams of newbies...meaning the vets for the most part were also safe from eviction in the earlier weeks. How about other returning vets (e.g. Rachel Riley) and all the rigging that went on to make sure they won their seasons?

Likewise even arrogant as fuck Derrick was given an instant alliance with the all summer long "Team America" challenge. Remember Evel Dick and how he won his season because of the rigging bullshit with "America's Player"?

Sometimes I really wonder, if Paul was a white man...would people be so up in arms about him controlling the house the way he is. I can bet that if it was Dan Gheesling playing Paul's game, everyone would be rooting for him for fooling the whole house into believing his bullshit.

But for Paul (someone who appears of middle-eastern descent), people are absolutely livid. Maybe the truth is people are uncomfortable with watching someone of middle-eastern descent making a house mostly of white people his little puppets?

This is the first time I've heard anyone observe or even suggest Paul isn't white...

Well he is white (he's Armenian), but with the olive complexion, long black hair and long black beard, he to most would not be perceived as a white man...

When he's all cleaned up though it's a different story...

Nah, it's just because he is an asshole.

If there's a possibility that Derrick might mess up their golden boy, then that's EXACTLY what production will do. They will limit his access time to the houseguests.

Derrick is another vet that the sheep would listen to. Not only that, but he's a vet that won. I hope he gets the chance to give these houseguests a wake up call.

I hope he gets the chance to give these houseguests a wake up call.

That's a horrible idea.

The whole point of Big Brother is being secluded in a house and playing a game with no outside influence.

The irony is in Derrick's season, there was someone screaming with a bullhorn into the Big Brother house backyard. Derrick started panicking and grabbed everyone out of the backyard and had them run into the house.

He was so scared he was going to be outed as a puppet-master, that he did everything he could to protect himself from any outside influence.

It's just bizarre to me that all over social media, people are saying they hope Derrick goes into the house and exposes Paul for manipulating everyone. I don't think I have ever watched a season where fans wanted a houseguest to have their game ruined by an outside force, until this season.

So again...it's interesting how with Big Brother, white men are celebrated for being masterminds and controlling everybody in the house, but yet an ethnic man does not have that same right and must have his game derailed - even from outside forces (thus compromising the entire spirit of the game).

EDIT: Found the video of Derrick ordering everyone out of the backyard during the bullhorn incident (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J60D82AtrAI).
