We blocked Kark and Xbro, the only time we were able to discuss together was shortly after lynch and then the rest of the night phase was one talking while the other was afk so we settled on them early and then later when I debated rescinding all together, Saw was afk so I just let it go since I'm not really worried about much more in the day of town PRs.

Anyway, I absolutely, as a town hooker, would be very cautious with my blocks. Not confirming Ouro still sticks in my craw, but there were breadcrumbs and hints and soft claims galore. For me, the entire Sawrian issue is (wildly, frustratingly) inconclusive and I don't find the lynch there today incredibly productive, but I will listen to sides.

Doubtful, our role PM doesn't even mention a virgin nor did it mention that we could do something negative. It's written exactly like a roleblocker with nothing extra. The hooker wording didn't even click for me until part way through day 1 when I happened to go back and look at our PM.

fwiw his activity is similar in our chat. He talks more and is more open, but there are clear spikes in activity and periods where none of us are talking.

So I'll be completely honest here; I'm not sure where to vote.

I don't like Rac/Acohrs but it doesn't seem like they'll be getting any traction and having them just up and vanish right before Day End really didn't help matters. I could build a case but I don't have enough time to do so and most of it would be just Sam/Muffin and how both of Rac/Acohrs just keep dodging my questions or deflecting and I'd just be reiterating myself. I should have done something yesterday and for that I apologize; I was hoping they would have responded since then and to be honest I was a little discouraged after a bad Ouro flip, quiet start of the Day, and then just being out-right ignored. That's on me though and I'm sorry about that.

When it comes down to the current candidates I'm left with an 'I don't know'.

Star/Ab are just kinda nothing. Star has hardly posted anything and her partners fade in and out so it's not like there's a solid read there. I'm not against her lynch since I doubt she would be NKed anyway but I don't feel strongly for her either.

Crimson/Sophia....I'll be honest here, my gut still does not like them. However, after my gut was amazingly wrong about Ouro I'm far more hesitant here since most of my reasoning is them just being so reserved and not really anything other than that ( and Crimson's Day 1 vote on Kits too ). I'm also not terribly against their lynch either to be totally honest but I'm worried I'm wrong here.

Ty/Trigger I've gone back and forth on so much I'm confusing myself here and worried I'm WIFOMing it to death. Ty still gets me to pause for his constant Kit votes and I don't see any evidence against Trigger that is strong enough to outweigh that and tell me he planned out some extreme bussing strategy to gain ultimate Townie points. However, as time goes on this read is wavering as nothing Ty has done since then really screams to me 'hey I'm Townie' and maybe he is riding on the good-graces of that lynch? i don't know.

Kark/Xbro is another I feel iffy on as well. I like Xbro and his contributions but Kark is just in-and-out all the time and I'm very much not used to that from him. They're somewhat similar to Ty/Trigger; I like one member of the pair and just feel uncertain/not great about the other. Not against their lynch either.

For now I would prefer to keep it on Rac/Acohrs as they're my strongest but I will switch it if necessary to pick one pair over another.

At the time, I was looking into the idea that the more confident players were doing most of the talking for the team, allowing a player more likely to get caught up in a lie to skate by. It was more observation, not accusation. I voted on it later because I didn't like the OuroKitty train at all, and went for the next shadiest thing in my (1 day in the game) mind. I suppose my vote could be seen as turning it from observation to accusation.

I wonder who would benefit from targeting the two pairs that are most disadvantageous to scum in fran/worm and Sorian/Sawneeks due to the former being hugely Town read and the latter likely being our only good PR. I wonder. Hmm. Ah but they did go after Star as well... who happens to be the leading lynch candidate. Wouldn't want to derail a potential lynch, especially if it'll be a mislynch.

I don't doubt that it is. Activity level was never the issue. It's when and how that I laid out issues with.

Sawneeks is me; I am Sawneeks. I posted earlier about being really uncertain here in this game. I agree with this about racohrs. I'm really confused as to why everyone seems to be ignoring them as much as they are ignoring the game but we're talking about StarBro - why not discuss them equally?

Yeah, I noticed that too when I was catching up. Star/Ab are nulls who don't give anything on a flip and Rac/Acohrs are too because apparently Sam/Muffin's interactions early on don't mean anything? Same with how Rac/Acohrs have posted more than Star and have just been deflecting or giving half-answers but that's apparently not enough either. :x

Most of today's play is swirling around Sorian/Sawneek's claim regarding blocking Ouro/Kitty. There are various accusations surrounding that, and today's lynch should hopefully give information there in.

For me, knowing that there is nothing in Star and my chat or PM boxes about a message from Ouro, I am heavily inclined to believe Sorian/Sawneek's claim that they are the role blockers, though obviously that doesn't tell me their alignment. IF they are town as they claim, lynching them would be a horrible loss of a powerful role, a role which scum will inevitably deal with.

Star/Me. Our lynch isn't a huge loss to town, from either a PR or helpfulness standpoint. I'm not sure what information you really get from it, other than that we are indeed town and had no reason to lie about not getting a message from Ouro. That would solidify Sorian/Sawneeks as role blockers, but still does nothing to prove their alignment. In the end, I'm not sure what other information that results in, but I'm probably just missing the obvious or something.

Kark/xBro read town to me, and Kark clashing with Sorian is hardly alignment indicative. Whether or not he believes that Sorian/Sawneeks played their role the way they did, it's kind of moot unless there's more than speculation. I'm thusfar inclined to believe Sorian, as I said above.

We generally play our own game and discuss a bit in chat. I don't ever ask Trigger to vote with me or anything so that is just him either agreeing with me or sheeping because he knows I'm town. Day end is also generally a time when he's not very active.

There are a few standout townie things with them (biggest being wanting to have recognition for their reads) and at day end they don't seem to be on a team as they're heading their own way instead of saving kitsune and FEP.

They're the first name I took off the PoE. I just don't see them as scum.

First of all, I'd like to note that I always found Dragonz and Vere a bit harsh in how they were playing, and I wasn't sure if that was just their personality, or what. I've never seen the role that they flipped, but with that hindsight, it makes me wonder if their attitude was them trying to get killed. Maybe it's not as suicidal of a role as Tanner, but it seems like Town benefits if you die before that "something" happens.

However, they weren't really acting all that suicidal, as far as I noticed. They did make defensive plays. It's a weird role to understand in terms of behavior, since we don't really do suicidal roles. But we do know that they were never visited/deactivated by the Hooker, or whatever it was that their role text implied.

So with that said, two possibilities - the Hooker never found them (implying they want to find them, I guess?), or the Hooker isn't in the game.

Virgin does imply Hooker, but it's never a guarantee. Mafia setups often have subtle misdirections made by omitting roles you'd expect. For example, having an "Assistant" to a Doctor (with Doctor powers), with no actual Doctor in the game.

For one, it would be an odd scum move to push Sorian/Sawneeks this hard right now. Believe them or not, suddenly trying to kill a pretty powerful PR (whom I'm taking to be town, so some of this Kark/xBro read is based on that) just seems like a good way to get lynched next, even if you succeed. Scum generally can't win with one for one trades, given that they start with fewer numbers to begin with.

The lack of a "usual Kark gambit" is another reason. I mean, he says his "quiet listening" could be seen as a gambit, but after the Bat-Computer... I also agree with the general sentiment of that whole post. Especially after having to wade through 3100 posts when I subbed in on D2.

Xbrodor potentially have RoyalMonkey's claim in their favour. Kark mentioned that they were chat blocked day and night, which should only apply to town if everyone involved is telling the truth. Although of course we don't know if scum would have been informed of that.

I'm pretty sure scum is informed so the blocker doesn't act as a cop. Scum didn't claim chat block in the last game and it helped us a lot in lylo as we could work with blocked pairs being confirmed town.
