I could have him one-punching her out the ring instead.

So that episode was a bit of a wash. All it did was cement how underwhelming a presence Universe 11 is in this tournament with how many members have jobbed and how Jiren is a walking piece of cardboard with a frowny face drawn on it. Hit teaming up with Goku is neat on paper but the execution was lacking, the fight was more interesting when we saw Hit messing with not!Beerus instead of Goku just pulling God out of nowhere.

As an aside, Champa's VA screaming every five seconds is starting to grate.

EDIT: Dunno if this was posted here but Goku Is A Terrible Father Post#782423:

The issue is Goku and Hit didn't work as a team.

The closest was Hit going in for a Hit when Dyspo was attacking Goku.

I'd like to see a U6 X U7 teamup against one person, not each of them fighting their own battles right next to each other.

Like repeated a thousand times a fight Hit was more interesting without Goku

Dyspo is kinda a symptom of the problem of way too many underwater foes and they seem to be banking on Jiren to make up for it

It was a tag team. That was what the preview advertise.

Dyspo put up a great fight and him and that other Pride Trooper probably could've taken him out. So he wasn't an underwater foe. He just had the bad luck of Goku showing up.

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own
He got caught off-guard and controlled it right after a few seconds, sure there was some sweat, but dude held his own in no time.

"some sweat" I think you guys need to watch that scene again, he looked like he just got out of a shower of sweat and it took him like 30 seconds before he got it under control.
It took everything he could muster to get it under control.

Beerus having a serious fight and reestablishing himself is something the anime desperately needed imo. First change from the manga I've liked

I mean, Piccolo could shine. Android saga, briefly during Frieza, he was the strongest.
Anyways I feel Vegeta is still the Vegeta, but 17 and Frieza are also trying to be the Vegeta of the show right now.

Rib's a jobber. Mid cards like Pickle and 18 maybe, but 17 and especially Vegeta will tear her apart.

The anime already established during the same arc that beerus doesnt even have to fight people if he wants to to get rid of his opponents.

Hrm I'm really curious what the Beerus vs. Goku and Vegeta thing is going to be resolved like. Like, will it be an End of Z thing where it happens at the very end of Super in a short fight separate from an "arc'? Will it happen in the middle of an arc and Super will still continue afterwards? Will be interesting to see, cause I think it's obvious neither Goku or Vegeta are gonna kill Beerus or anything like that. I'm just curious if Goku defeating Beerus happens before End of Z, or afterwards. Cause if it's afterwards there ain't no telling how long it's gonna take.

Dragon Ball Z Japanese version with original audio broadcast is phenomenal.

It's unbelievable Toei is so incompetent and released this awful audio on every dvd ever.

Did he?

I remember Goku saying he didn't power up at all.

That was just when he started yelling to mimic Goku's power aura. It's outright stated he got stronger during the battle. Some people want to interpret it as him just improving his timeskip, in spite of "strength" being mentioned, but that wouldn't explain how he could clearly be wounded by hits from base SSB and later take hits from Kaioken x 10 SSB and still be fine.

Yes, I agree, but if you're going to throw Goku in, do something meaningful with him.

Goku was there just to be there. I would rather not have Goku at all, but if he is, do something interesting with him.

Hit and Goku in this episode were as interesting as Jiren character wise. After having several good character moments for them in earlier arcs.

I think they destroyed al the old audio stuff. Which doesn't surprise me considering how they treated most of their old stuff. Remember seeing a video of their old toku stuff just lying about in a shed and rotting.

His entrance was pretty dope though plus he was able to get them off Hit's back for a bit so he could collect himself and turn the tables.

Goku helping out Hit makes the most sense of him being thrown in so far. They've spent a good amount of time showing his respect for him, would be a waste to let Hit get thrown off by U11.

Goku Black as well I think. I'd really like a Zamasu and Fused Zamasu figure as well.

And yeah those Gokus are most likely fakes, the real one has definitely shot up in price since I bought one a couple years ago.

You think they'd have them out, ready for people's money. Champa/Vados were shown 2 years ago and still no sign.

Fused Zamasu and Hit would be perfection. And a little double pack of Zeno.

Nah, it would have been a shocking, dramatic moment... something this story could use more of.

It would have been nice if the guy who sacrificed himself did succeed in taking out Hit.

Any U6 fighter who falls should be saved by Hit, so when they're not like with Botamo, there's the story issue of where was Hit. Getting rid of him eliminates that.

FTFY lol

I think Gohan fans have collectively suffered enough. I'm hoping that Gohan will be one of the last remaining fighters.
Main reason I watch Super is that I'm hoping for adult Gohan to actually win a main fight. He hasn't done anything cool yet😒

It's pretty cool that Super has introduced several new, interesting, and fun characters that fit right in with all the groups.

Beerus, Whis, Champa, Vados, Jaco are all great. And I can see a lot of potential in Caulifla and Cabba.

That Kale shade

Haven't seen enough of Kale beyond shy berserker yet.

She wanted to help Hit before Caulifla did, so hopefully she's changing to more of a fighter.

That was the biggest problem with a beam spam after she got LSSJ. We still don't know how she fights as a fighter. Anyone can throw a beam spam.

Now that translation is more understandable, him not realizing Chichi was pregnant was kind of an exaggeration.
