Voice acting of Dormammu and Ghost Rider is seriously disappointing. Rip "EAT CHAIN" and "I SUMMON THE POWER". Don't get me started on Firebrand aka Saibaman.

Also the sounds of the hits connecting is like muffled plastic.

I can't tell if the voice direction is bad or the audio is just mixed poorly because everything just sounds really muffled and flat from the videos we're seeing. It's weird because it's like, across the board for everyone.

Except Jedah's laugh. That's way hype.

I miss the combo of him with Mike Ross. That video where he shows of FANG for the first time was great. Sure, there might be a lot of laughing but it was entertaining while being informative!

I wonder how many characters we'll have before EVO.

If the six new characters are coming out before or around the beginning of 2018, I wonder if they can squeeze in some more before next July to round out the character count at around 40.

I strongly dislike some of the voice acting, but Firebrand is annoying in the right way for me.

I'm not sure I'll be investing time into Rocket early on but we will see. I have some theories about him, but I want to keep it simple for the first week or two. I'll probably be playing Thor + Someone

I wish some of these sites asked important questions, hopefully without being a dick, but at the same time, I dont know how you can ask "so... this roster is only 30 characters and 75% of it are recycled from Marvel 3 whats up with that?" without being blacklisted or something lol.

What the hell is going on at the end of the trailer? It's like so many supers and activations going on I had no idea what was happening.

Do you expect that they'd be able to answer that question? Their canned response will just be 'we took a look at a list of characters and chose the ones we wanted' and the real reasons will be raw business ones that they aren't allowed to answer. It'd kind of be a waste of everyone's time to ask.

Thinking of two teams one built around Thor I mained him in umvc3 praying I can still do his air mighty hurricane resets. My other team will be built around Thanos he's been my favorite comic villain for ever still hoping for my Asura Thanos dream team.


Side bar dormanmu looks really fucking good as does jedah jury is still out on ghost rider as he was ass tier in umvc3. The soul stone looks absolutely fucking broken. Returns green health, revives fallen partner and allows you to use both at the same time? Jeeze I'm sure it will be the main stone on day 1

I'm really looking forward to the PC mods for the game. Even something as 'small' as turning Jedah's purple goo into something more blood-like would get me excited.

I doubt the list of stages is final. There's bound to be a training stage and there might be other stages that are story-relevant that they don't wanna reveal yet. I wouldn't count on that last one but it's a possibility.

But I'd expect at least a training stage and a random select

characters say different things during supers now dont forget.

I thought Dormammu lost the "chaotic flame" part because he just kept saying "burn to cinders", but later I caught him say the full thing "burn to cinders, chaotic flame"

like spidey says "maximum spider" or "a whole bunch of nonsense about his webbing strenght" for example

Jedah's gameplay and level 3 look sick. The character select screen looks better too, not amazing, but better for sure.

They are all obviously very scary, though some characters probably favor certain ones more than others. I think they are all very deadly and there isn't any 'right choice' until you've decided on your two characters, which may lower the usefulness of some of them for that specific team.

Streaming was comparatively primitive when MVC3 came out, though there were plenty of streams going on. I remember EVO 2011 being on Ustream at the time, and I think most gaming streams still went through Justin.tv. Now everybody and their goat gonna have epic MVCI streams going.

I think they are planning with some downloadable characters so 6 DLC characters probably going to push characters toward to different position.
