Just now seeing who we cut. So happy Boykin is gone. At least I have a tiny amount of hope we won't tank if Wilson gets injured. A little sad to see Marsh gone but we don't have room for him to play consistently. He's a poor mans Michael Bennett. Decent edge rusher and can occasionally play inside. Also commits stupid penalties both on defense and special teams. Getting a 5th and 7th for him was decent value.

Edit: I brought this new chick i've been talking to to our draft party and it threw off my focus.

Ended up with: Newton, Ajayi, Crowell, Brown, Cooks, Reed, Tyreek Hill, Vikings, Prater.

Pretty solid overall I'd say. I wish I ended up with Crow. He got snaked the last pick before mine (thanks Gut again for doing that damn you). so I grabbed Hunt earlier than I should have. So my RBs are Hunt, Howard and Gore.

Gut pls.. make me an offer.


man Gut might actually beat me this year. I really like his roster.. I really don't like this. Especially if I were to trade for Crow for Carr and be left with Ben

Sad to see Bryce Treggs cut when he clearly out performed Gibson. But hey Howie can't admit his pick was a mistake.

Dude can't understand the playbook, drops the ball all the time, and was kept over the most productive WR they had in the preseason.

Realistically every QB after like Brady/Rodgers is one big log jam anyway. Like Rivers could realistically finish 3rd this year... he could also finish 20th. I think Carr's pretty safe as a starter. Ben is hard though, his road numbers really have been unplayable and it's been trending that way for a few years now. I'd feel pretty good about Carr in a 12 team league, but the automatic grading is gunna say it's bad.

I have a 16 team draft tonight and have no idea how it's gunna go. 12 was always my limit.

Gibson was playing better by the end of the preseason. Yes Treggs was outplaying him, but this is a roster spot that probably won't even be active on game days. So they're betting that Gibson continues to get better because his ceiling is higher than Treggs.

And the eagles cut their other 5th round pick so I think Howie can admit mistakes

USC is getting a ton of pub because they brought on a blind snapper on a PAT, yet nobody ever made a big deal about the Bucs drafting a blind kicker in the 2nd round last year.

Colts and Browns have claimed 5 players off waivers. Jets have claimed 4

Havent seen all the names yet though the Browns claimed Kasen Williams WR from Seattle

Jags also claimed 5

Raiders zero

WTF happened to Jeremy McNichols in Tampa?

Coming out of college I thought he was gonna be pretty good. Possibly a 4 down back.

Eagles weren't awarded any waiver players. Not sure if they just didn't claim anyone or they did and didn't get them
