The levels has got split paths?
The stages are organized in a tree, so at the end of each stage you have two stages to choose from. Natural divisions inside the stages can also happen, but that'll be very situational.

Any other "big budget" games like Assembly, Solus Project, Narcosis or Obduction? Walking sim puzzle games for VR?
I have:
POLLEN
Solus Project
The Assembly
Mind: Path to Talasmus
Narcosis
Obduction
Ethan Carter
It's not "big budget", but Dead Secret is supposedly good.Any other "big budget" games like Assembly, Solus Project, Narcosis or Obduction? Walking sim puzzle games for VR?

Also played Gorn for the 2nd day, hit the wall and tables around me a few more times x_x But its a fun game. Beat the honey badger champion. Some of the weapons really annoy me though like the spear. Its like trying to hit someone with spaghetti so ruins any precision with it. The glaive doesn't seem to be a 2handed weapon from what I tried which is really disappointing. Huge hammer is amazing though lol.
The spear is a little tricky because you have to be fairly precise, and use it only for stabbing, no swinging it around. But if you're good with it, it's so much fun because you can lift enemies up with it, then toss them around or even use them to bash other guys with
Also picked up soundboxing on steam. Tried one user challenge and couldnt help but smile at it, was pretty fun. Tried to make my own and was disappointed in the creation options. I can't pause or end songs once i'm recording even though the menu is right there to my side, I can either wait out the whole song or quit the game?
You can pause and quit out during recording - it's kinda janky as it does not show a cursor but you can point your right hand at where it says 'Pause', and that will open the menu to restart, quit to menu, etc. Wiggle your hand about a bit in the direction of the button and watch for it to highlight :lol.
You can't edit recordings, no - it has to be all one take. I like that the beat map creation has to be a one-take performance rather than more accurate, technical 'pause the recording and put balls here'. Also I guess with the motion capture aspect of seeing the author performing the beat map you couldn't have edits in as it would look wierd with them flickering into different poses midway through the song.
Play a few more of other people's songs and you will get a better feel for it and be more at ease creating something of your own - that's how it was for me at least. That is also good for learning what makes an interesting and fun beatmap rather than just punching left and right.
Played it a little bit, kinda dig the style, has that old Starfox charme somewhat.
It's a rather difficult game in my eyes, steering the vehicle, using the boardcannons and on top using a handcannon + avoiding obstacles and enemy fire... I died rather quickly. Have to play it again and a little longer to see if I can get used to that.
I hope I'm not opening pandoras box when I say that I would appreciate easy modes for many VR games, or even REZ like tourism modes where you can't die etc. Personally I'm not really looking for a challenge in most VR games (there are exceptions), I just want to experience the "my body in VR" feeling most of the time.
This was pretty fun. Outside of some pop-in and other minor graphic cleanup stuff, I don't really have any complaints. Looking forward to the full release!
Just finished the demo (took me 40 minutes to see both zone b and c. I normally don't play games of this genre so my skill level is low but I still enjoyed playing it. Each time I died, I wanted to jump back in and try to get past where I died (Reminds me of Star Fox too in a good way).

Depends on what your preferences are reagrding jumpscares.
If you like jumpscares .... maybe Paranormal Activity or Affected The Manor?
If you don't like them, maybe Dead Secret or A Chair in A Room:Greenwater?
If you are ok with them but don't want too many of them, maybe Dreadhalls or Narcosis?
The latest GORN update added support for async local multiplayer, as in people with controllers can control the enemy gladiators to try to kill the player in VR.
Edit: Ah... not really exclusive to the rift its on Steam
I played Face Your Fears and have now backed out of getting a horror game.

Hm still a few hours left of the sale. Can't decide if I should get Chronos or not. Looks interesting but a bit simple.
i want to set up a private match, i'm 2 people, and would need 4 more to start. anyone available?
Has anyone had issues with audio on Rift? turns out I'm playing any game and after a certain period of time the audio stops working, I have to freaking reset the PC and reconnect the cables, read a lot of pointless solutions and it's getting to my nerves
are you clicking the audio cue on the toolbar to ensure the audio is indeed going through the rift?
It might help to state what game you're trying to set up a match in too. I'm assuming it was echo arena?
Chronos is a little simple in terms of character customization when compared to something like Dark Souls, but it's a beefy and challenging (on Hard) game with its own unique pacing. I can't recommend it enough.
I got it off sale, just haven't had chance to start it yet. But its around a 20 hour game and has all around positive reviews and impressions amongst vr community. Plus, its one of the few seated vr games for those times when you dont want to stand Only downside is it doesnt seem to support touch controllers from what I read, not sure if thats changed recently though.
Project M : Daydream is on Steam... I have no idea how it compares to the Kanojo game!
