That's kind of what it stemmed from, but the way toei handled it was a bit strange. You have Kid Trunks who has Purple hair in Super, and then up pops Future Trunks with Bulma implying that Future Trunk's hair was always Blue (made even more funnier by the first flashback Future Trunks has in Super showing his hair being Purple)

More people are getting that "closed beta is full" email apparently.

I've seen people report that they've gotten a JP code.

I got one of those "the beta is full" emails from Bandai Namco America but I'm in the UK, here's hoping that's just for the US beta...

I registered both for my Japanese account (it was a download lottery on PSN) and my North American account (it was a website registration with Bandai Namco). I received an email with a code for my Japanese account this morning (9/13, 4:46 a.m. eastern time). No email from North American branch yet.

You can download and install now, but server/connectivity isn't up and you just get sent back to the title screen. Crazy metal music playing.

I certainly didn't see, agree to, or sign an NDA for this, but then again I didn't actually read the text on the Japanese lottery download page. I can't speak to "influencers" who may have received or were playing anything ahead of time; I know plenty of them were invited up to capture game footage in and around and separate from recent conventions/expos, but I have no idea who may have gotten beta access ahead of now.

Edit: As for multiple characters, Skullgirls handles it extremely well despite multiple characters with GGPO (rollback netcode). So that's is not an excuse nor the six people tag matches thing either, cause Fightcade can handled multiple players for brawler arcade games.

To be fair, SFV, which uses rollback netcode, is by far and away the worst online experience of all the modern fighting games I've played..

I think MKX uses it as well though and is really good. and Killer Instinct which is probably the best online fighting game you can play atm.

Xrd and BB are serviceable. Especially on Steam. I expect the same of this game

As I said it's not people liking the show that bothers me.

It's them bending over backwards to justify how something isn't from Super, as if just a Super character being in the game will taint it.

I feel the same way for the people who ho on similar rants about GT.

And what's your opinion on the people who try to deny the Super references in some character?

Because the reason people "pop off" as you say is because I imagine there like me and just sick of "No guys Goku Black is totally a Z character."

Hate on Super all you want, you cannot deny the sheer amount of fan loved characters that series has introduced. It's close to DBZ levels.

Hit, Black, Zamasu, Gowasu, Champa, Vados...shall I keep going???????????

It's dumb but I get where it's coming from and I don't think the show is gonna get any deep pulls for the roster

It's shit like this that causes people to dislike Super.

People are thinking we're talking about an AJ Styles here when really it's Dolph Ziggler.
