Champ has hated SFV for a while now. He respects the balance, but that's about it. He doesn't like a bunch a things with the game. In fact, he called it bad in an interview.
Hell, Punk himself says SFV is getting boring for him and that dude places Top 3 on the regular.
TBF, it's not a SFV-focused thing. SF4 was like that too, especially towards Ultra.
Champ is a Marvel boy at heart. So is Yipes too.
And man, I'm starting to mull over whether or not I'll be devoting a few more hours to this game over SFV. I love SFV myself, but Marvel is looking lit.

When I saw it on SRK this morning I almost did a spit take. I briefly wrote for them last year and the editors there at the time never would've let me cover such a baseless rumor.

Yeah I hope that MVCI is fun...I've started playing SFIV online again it's so much more fun to me than V but there's a ton more bullshit online so I kind of go back and forth. V is not bad by any stretch but it's really lacking in the comeback component and the supers are boring.

The fact that Marvel doesnt care about comic books (how ironic) is depressing. This isnt even about Infinite specifically, I remember the exact moment when it sunk in.
Marvel Heroes Advance Pack 3. If you dont know, Marvel Heroes, the f2p diablo style game, used to have Advance Packs, basically season packs but for a whole year, you would pay upfront for a year's worth of content, and they usually announced almost all the characters upfront too, which was nice (I maintain its better to know everything and then speculte how they will look/play than this bullshit of mystery characters, but I digress).
So yeah, AP3... why was that the moment I realised Marvel dont give 2 fucks about promoting their comic books? No Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan. Even back when AP2 was going to be announced, prople were already expecting Kamala, she had been introduced shortly before, was a new hot character etc, but then she didnt make the cut, fine.
But then AP3 rolled around (that was the last advance pack before the game started dying btw), Kamal HAD to be in it right? She was super hot (in the comics), had a ton of media attention (again, from the comic perspective), had been around for awhile now, has powers that fit a action game, they even had Mr.Fantastic tech lready made for her stretchy stuff and Ant Man tech for her growing stuff... but no, there was no Kamala.
Before this, I still believed we could use logic and expect things from the comics when it came to videogames, and that killed it for me.

even kbr in chile got the game urley. anyways kbr put in some work with haggar and hulk yesterday and i was right about haggar being ass. they even nerfed his air hoodlum launcher and took away his reset potential. he can't follow up on his command grab or his level 3 either.

It's pretty frustrating to see so many completely unsubstantiated "leaks" get traction. Figured it's worth a shot. Maybe it's fun to get to see people latch onto your every word?
dont even get me started on fucking team-ups, I will actually bite your nose off intel.
U know you got 6 stones to choose from that'll help with nerfs or whatever your character is lacking right? I can say Zero got "nerfed" but now I got stones to help me with those nerfs.

KBR was convinced at one point in time that Rocket Punch was the best assist for his team, he's not always right
No one can follow up on their lvl3 hypers im their game (especially those with comand grab hypers) and they proved on Bum's stream that you can get a combo off of his command throw (L version) if you tag with it.

He's a known marvel player i dunno if he's sponsored or anything. The other guy he shouted out, flux, has won several events but "i still think he's trash and [cloud] hasn't won anything so what do you think that makes you to me?"

Have you seen KBR play Marvel 3 without drones to cover his ass? The dude gets hit by everything. Zero patience and pretty weak neutral skills. He is going to have to do a lot of relearning in MvCi, and I wouldn't trust his judgment on anything this early.
In fact, the only person I would listen to about early meta facts is Viscant. Everyone else has a middling to poor track record.
i'm saying haggar is ass. i don't think he's worth it when other characters can do similar damage and have way better mix up tools. thanos is probably a better alternative to haggar. some characters look like they got tweaked to play well in this game and others seem like they got minimum attention. we know this always happens but it might of been better if another character got in over haggar if this is what they made him into. maybe zangief would have been a better replacement for haggar. sf5 zangief with green hand would have been fun in this game. maybe throw in an anti air hyper. are there any characters with anti air grab hypers this time around?
screw that i want ryu to be in the over him. i would also take rei and teepo over him.

Also w/r/t zero...im hearing that you cant rebind two of the same button in this game, meaning you cant bind like lp or something to a shoulder button without disabling it elsewhere. This affects zero play a lot right? If you're charging and you start a combo it might be really difficult
