Which is exactly why youtube need to do something about it
Are they really so hands off with everyone? I mean you don't expect Youtube to become part of the creative process, but at the same time with so many viewers you'd think that these high rolling Youtubers would have someone more dedicated to them regardless. Whether that be letting them know they are crossing certain lines, and even the opposite where you maybe ask them "what can we do to improve Youtube for someone like you".
It almost seems like Youtube is completely detached from everyone other than their own strike system and the DMCA. Everyone else, big or small, is just floating off in another sphere and the only interaction with Youtube HQ is "video being demonitized" or "video taken down". "Got an issue? Even if you are in the tiop ten watched people? Go through the system."
It's kinda surprising. And there are people that can be contacted. Like I know one Jvlogger who spoke about this that thee are some people who he talks to in Japan when issues arise, and he doesn't blame them for it cause apparently they can't really do anything about it. It's just an extremely impersonal system when it comes to Youtube communicating with the Youtubers for good reasons (hey a video was demonitized let us actually help you out to tell you why or why not) or bad (hey your video is about promoting curb stomping. We can't let such videos stand because of their promotion of fatal violence). Just nada. Like talking at a wall when communicating with Youtube let alone them talking to you.
