She really is, they put her into books when the sales start to sag or they need some help lol. Shes in Red Hood and the outlaws in december and Batgirl.

She's more like a half-pillar. She's there but doesn't actually support anything.
She's like one of those pillars in the middle there by the crane.
Oh that never got officially solicited. It's been on Amazon UK for WELL over a year with multiple release dates. That thing is never coming out.
She's as much of a pillar any of the big two as her appearance rival that of Batman. She's getting like 2 movies in the coming future too.
She supports the entire DCEU by herself.
The DCEU already solid floor all by itself before she came, she just took advantage.
I was waiting for it lol. Before her movie? Not very much, less than Harley. Since the movie a lot better but I would bet Harley's solo movie will make super bank too.
Its fine they are both pillars.

It wasn't really hard to follow. It's split into plot development parts and slice-of-life parts just like the last issue.

If I were asked what comic was least what I expected it to be, I would say that Batwoman is definitely my answer. It's like a whole different animal than typical Bat books. More adventure than detective.

Decided I shouldn't have just decided to dismiss Cave Carson without reading it. GREATLY regretting my decision. Is this book gonna make sense or come together? Cause I'm not in the mood for wtf-ery right now.

Well that was the case since she first got her own series with Elegy. It was more of a paranormal twist on a bat book. Early on the main plot involved the Religion of Crime.
The juxtaposition of her internal and external dialogue is just magical. And that book has two of the most legitimately shocking moments I can recall in recent Marvel history.Lol Jane.
Didn't really work, but okay.
Pity about Portman.

That sounds pretty appealing to me. Honestly, a bat-family game with Marvel Ultimate Alliance as a template would be cool for me.
There could be so many things to upgrade from the Batcave to the various vehicles and gadgets. There could be undercover missions as Matches Malone. Training missions like those in Detective Comics (Clayface would be another good playable character).

What the hell...? I just got a couple free comics on CMX.
I saw the Batman Metal sale, but the prices were not cheap. I figured there was a code, but nothing was listed, so I tried to guess codes in the cart. I typed in 'batman' and it gave me Arkham Knight 1-3 as a "gift." That was weird.

I just want a fun and simple game. The Arkham games are great, but they got too bogged down with trying to be this great Batman experience. I'd play through the game once. Maybe twice and then just spend like 70 hours doing combat maps.
Is that a positive or a negative for Rat Queens. I can't tell.

He basically rebooted it as is. He's ignored at least 70% of the Fowler stuff. All we know for sure is that they went to Magic University, got Hannah's dad, interacted with some people, and met the Ice Dragon (where Vi got her sword). Then they all sailed back. Beyond that, everything has pretty much been deleted. For the better, honestly.
We don't know if the Smidgen assassin cult is still a thing though.
Yes. Issue 7. The first issue is pretty much a mess, but fuck it gets good. Like, I seriously fucked up not reading this earlier and depriving myself of the conversation when issues dropped.

I miss OG Rat Queens. I wish Sejic could have at least stayed on it for a lengthy run but he ran off to draw his lewd book.

This current run is very much back to that. It is a bit more cartoony than I'd like with it's the art and overall tone, but it's much closer to classic and an infinite step up from Fowler's stuff.

I don't think Fowler is a bad artist at all. But I don't think her style was a good fit for Rat Queens.

It's not even that, it's just that the book got too damn dark. Yes, I was not a fan of Fowler. Upchurch created a great visual style for the book and Seijic followed up on it really, really well. Fowler did not. I don't think she's a particularly good artist. Average, really, and it certainly didn't fit the style of the book she hopped on to. On top of that, the book went for an extremely dark ride to somewhere bleak and unlikable. It destroyed everything likable about the book. If that run was intended to tank and assassinate that book, then it succeeded.
Luckily this run is bringing it back. Gieni's art isn't as fitting as Upchurch and Seijic, sadly, but it's grown on me and it's much better than Fowler and it helps that the book is back to a much lighter tone.

Finally got Gwenpool vol 3 with the Amazon sale! Woooo! And now that a new Black Hammer issue is dropping this week, the previous issue will drop $2! Good shit.
Still working my way through Spurrier's Legacy, which is brilliant, obviously. Who is better at dialogue than Spurrier. No question mark because seriously no one. Some interesting X-characters I haven't seen before. Blink seems like an interesting character. And fire-mouth Guy... Well, he dresses cool. Hank shows up to and I realize I've only liked Hank in the cartoons. Not in movies or comics.

The only thing I read of his was Cry Havoc, and I thought it was so utterly horrible, that I've avoided everything with his name ever since. Is his writing much different in other books? I never want to see him write a lesbian relationship again. I'm not sure that I wanna see him write another female-centered book at all. It was so insipid.

While I didn't hate it, Cry Havoc is not one of his strongest books. The relationship is... weak. I'd suggest checking out Six Gun Gorilla or The Spire. Those are two of his highly regarded minis. I also adore Numbercruncher. And his current mini, Godshaper, is awesome, too.
I couldn't even get through the most recent issue of Rat Queens. And I used to be the biggest Rat Queens stan. Haven't been feeling the reboot. Parts are cute but... Eh.
