Well, I saw some things that were good.

Left Alive looked a little like Front Mission, that chopper sounded like the ones from Front Mission 4 at least, and the art they showed also reminded me a bit about the old ones from the Snes era.

MH:World showing was incredibly strong. Considering that's all I wanted I'm satisfied with this conference.

Maybe next time DMC...

It was a good TGS-tier conference. A few new announcements which were surprising but not mindblowing, a few updates on big upcoming titles, a bunch of release dates, new trailers, mostly JP-centric. They didn't even have to roll out ForwardWorks to pad stuff.

If you expected more than that, or you expected DMC5, well then, blame yourself or God.

Solid conference for TGS. I have no clue why some people were expecting more than this? Any kind of big announcement or new gameplay will be at PSX in a few months.

Some cool surprises though with ZoE and Left Alive. I think Monster Hunter looks great as well, and I'm someone who has never played a MH game before. The gameplay looks good from what we've seen so far, and so I was happy to see some more story stuff in this new trailer. Looks like we are going to have another amazing and packed start for 2018 like we did for this year. I'm hyped!

"Yes we can do everything", except to let us play DMC 5, Demon's Souls remaster, Bloodborne 2, FFVII Remake (in this lifetime), FFVIII on PS4, Legend of Dragoon 2, Shenmue 1 + 2 HD, Skies of Arcadia 2, Jet Set Radio sequel, Tokyo Jungle 2, a new Fumito Udea game, a new Ridge Racer, a Castlevania reboot, a Dark Souls fighting game by the Soul Calibur team, etc. etc.

Mechs, anime girls, EDF and Monster Hunter is not "everything" Sony.

(I'm only being half serious here folks, there were some nice things sprinkled in here and there. That said, I was hoping for some FROM teases or Capcom surprises though.)

Fake edit: would have liked to see more of the Secret of Mana remake as well by the way.

As soon as people accept that DMC isn't happening they might enjoy conferences again.

And when it gets announced it'll be a nice surprise. But people like being disappointed i guess

It was worst than last year
And 2016 Sony conference was worst than the 2015 one

Not even a new anime game from Bamco or some new Musou from Koei

That was pretty good for a TGS, way better than last year as well.

ZOE 2 and Left Alive were pretty good surprises.

Plus Left Alive, and the confirmations on Dragon's Crown and FFIX, and an even better looking EDF thing.
That Gundam looked pretty nice too for me. I'm in for that anime Virtual On as well.
And some more sweet Shadow of the Colossus.

Solid conference. If 13 Sentinels had gotten even more than just a 2018 window that would have pushed it above solid.

Half of the conference was showing old trailers but in japanese (dub or sub)
I don't know how someone can call this a good conference.

At least show some new stuff, even if are trailers for already announced games (like most par of the second half of the show)
