Stopped by a new retro store in North York (2060 Sheppard Ave. E, between the 404 and Victoria Park) today. I hung around and talked with one of the co-owners for a good long while and just shot the shit. He told me they've been open for 5 weeks. They have retro games as well as retro toys, it's a cool little shop. While I was there a couple of young teens stopped by and Matt let them play some games. One played Super Mario All-Stars on the CRT he has sitting on the display case and he even pulled out another TV and grabbed a fat PS3 off the shelf and played a few matches of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift against the other one. Anyone in the area should check it out.

Before anyone asks, I have nothing to do with the store and get nothing for mentioning them. Just sharing another cool spot like someone else did with Retro Game Bros a while back (thanks whoever that was). I love having these shops near me.

BTW the value for Persona 5 (28$) and Crash Trilogy (15$) have dropped at EBGames

Better act fast if you plan on getting the best buck for your games :(

Does any one know the approximate trade in value of Injustice 2 at EB? With the trade-in promo, that is. I'm thinking of going digital while its on sale if the price is right.

Amazon still didn't deliver my Metroid despite saying it would arrive on Saturday, then two business days (today).

They alreaady gave me $5 but I'm getting incredibly impatient lol. I feel like contacting their support again

Outside of Christmas I don't think Amazon ever delivers on the weekend. If I were you I'd contact CS and either get them to re-make the order or get them to investigate.

If anyone wants the exact opposite of this, Letterbox in downtown Hamilton is going out of business and is selling everything down to the posters and other display stuff. Their prices were already reasonable, but now they're dropping further. I would call ahead if you're not in the neighbourhood though because their hours are irregular now.

Amazon has Exist Archive for PS4 for $24.03 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01ESA0W3C/

I've been following this one for a while, and as far as I can tell that's the lowest price its had. It might be pulling a Superbeat/Valkyria Revolution and could continue dropping, as I saw the price drop to about $29 just the other week.

Edit: wtf, just as I posted this it jumped to $24.99 and added the Prime Exclusive thing. Fuck you, Amazon.

Are there any phone plans out there around 40-45 bucks a month where I get a phone included in a contract? Freedom is making me pay the phone outright or increase my monthly bill to 80 dollars.

Maybe I miss the old days. 80 dollars a month for a phone plan is crazy, paying $1000 for a new phone is crazy. Maybe I should look at getting a new unlocked phone. I have a Galaxy S4, so any upgrade would be a good upgrade.

You wont get a good phone for that price per month. Zoomer has a $40 plan that gives you a free phone but its a beater. My wife has it.
