Alexa Bliss isn't anywhere near as good as the worst of the Horsewomen, imo.
She can talk, but Charlotte can talk better than she can and so can Becky.
Charlotte = Becky = Asuka > Bayley > Sasha > Alexa > A ton of people who run together for being mediocre.
This isn't counting NXT where I have no idea how I'd rank them.

When people post that Bayley is bad, do they excuse the poor stories and booking she had to endure or is that not relevant?
NXT Bayley was go, be a wrestler who hugs and is the underdog. She excelled. Main roster offered her zero chances to be presented as anything other than a joke.

She is also younger. She may not be as good in the ring but her promo work is usually dope.

That's crazy talk. Becky is one of the only babyfaces in the company that gets a babyface pop for playing a white-meat babyface. LIke, seriously, the whole "women's revolution" thing only became a real thing because Becky got over in her feud with Charlotte. Remember "inspiring babyface Charlotte" when she first got the Diva's title?
She's also orders of magnitude better than Bliss in the ring. And really, she isn't significantly younger than most of the women's roster other than Asuka.

That said it's not in my top 5 shows of all time. Maybe number 10.

That whole calculation would get weirder when they bring up people like Nikki Cross to the main roster. She's basically playing Dean Ambrose if Dean Ambrose put any effort into his theoretically assigned character beyond being a generic smartass.
Alexa is probably retaining. I do wonder if they have Asuka come out after that. They almost assuredly want to put Asuka in the PPV match after she debuts, but perhaps they just skip TLC and wait for Survivor Series?

I don't know if Asuka will be healed by then. Her debut will probably be around TLC time, but she might be recovering quick.

I don't like Sasha. She has not been great since she has gotten on the main roster. Sasha wrestles too quickly and seems to do dangerous moves just to look cool.
Charlotte is on another level compared to Sasha.

Becky is better in the ring but her promos bore me. Bliss is decent in the ring but some of her promos have been good. I buy into Bliss more then I do becky, she just doesn't click with me.
The only female wrestlers I actively dialike like watching all together are Brooke, Bayley, Natalya and Tamina.

The fact that writers/bookers keep putting all the women together should tell you about the confidence of the company with the current division
I've been studying this business for 45 glorious years and I can tell you Bayley is the greatest wrestler of all time.

I wasn't expecting her to get into action, just maybe do her entrance and mask thing to put the raw women on notice.
She could end up doing a Survivor Series match instead, but SS is a weird PPV. Survivor Series is the event where they should set it up as Raw v. SD where the equivalent champions fight the other equivalent champions, so the brands get trophies and bragging rights, etc. Have the traditional survivor series elimination matches be the matches where the midcarders get on the card.
For whatever reason, instead they just had all the biggest full-time guys actually in the elimination match and had the match drag on for an hour where there wasn't really anything at stake.

I do wonder what my current opinion of Sasha would be if I never watched NXT. The quality of her matches and character probably does affect my judgement a bit. It's hard to get me to dislike you later on when you're that damn good earlier.
But hey, Bayley managed to get me to hate her so it's not impossible.

Charlotte and Becky are the only ones I'd say might be top 6 in the women's wrestling world today, and that's admittedly because I haven't followed Stardom as consistently this year as I did last year. Bayley in the last year is proof that booking affects how you're regarded and I no longer look forward to any match she might have. Sasha's been injured too frequently (usually from dumb spots even Lita suggests should end), and the stop-start title booking they love to get her has also been poor. Alexa in-ring I've never cared for or seen the hype about; her best work in the company has been on SD and even the matches she had with Becky (which I think were her best) were nothing to really write home about or stood out much on the PPVs quality-wise.
It doesn't help she is shit on the mic
