So much salt in this thread, just let him be, he's not hurting you or anybody else Jeeeeeez.

I watched his switch one and it was cool but not sure I'm as hyped for the SNES classic as I was for the switch. Will probably watch them a couple of days behind.

That youtuber got nothing on me, I've been waiting on-line for the SNES classic since the announcement of the NES classic.

I wonder if when he gets older if he'll regret waiting in line for all those days for both switch and snes classic. Time is something he can't get back. Maybe the experience is worth it for him. But for me personally, never catch me in line for more than a couple of hours.

He had 90k subs when he started the switch line videos. He's now up to 220k and working with Nintendo on projects. I think he's doing just fine.

Is America that bad? Across the pond I'm sat at home enjoying my evening while my 2 pre-orders are already done. If he wasn't getting paid for this I'd feel bad for him.

So if i show up to my local target around midnight and wait until they open, should i be okay, they arent taking in store pre orders

the first one was much more natural this one he's trying to be entertaining, he should just be himself like the first one i don't mind his work, good stuff.

I'm sure I'll check it out. Sure there are some cringe moments but mostly he seems to be genuinely excited about video games and specifically Nintendo.

Not sure why some are against him. Seems to be good for the community and it seems to excite a lot of people and that's a good thing, IMO.

Did he play the NES Classic while waiting, or would that invite thieves? :p

Also I appreciate his peaceful protest of the hardships of acquiring hot Nintendo products.

Wow, lots of negative Nancies and "YouTube is a not a real job!" people in here, didn't expect a lot of this in GAF.

For you.
Not after the adpocalypse YouTube just went through.

As someone with a small youtube channel, the adpocalypse is not as huge as people think it is. I'm fairly sure dude still gets a pretty nice paycheck, and his kind of content is not bound to be hit with the limited monetization.

He made more money in those days than vast majority of people get in two or three months. There's nothing to regret.

Also important to note that Youtube is not his only source of income, as he gets donations from livestreams too.

Waiting in line for him is basically hanging out with friends for 10 days in New York. Oh no, I'm sure he'll look back and wish he didn't spend so much time....being with friends lol

I watched a good bit of the Switch one but not sure I'm bothered with this, kinda feels a bit long in the tooth.

Exactly.

I'm pretty much the same on his videos. The Switch one was fun, but I'm not hyped about the SNES Classic, so I don't much care for this current series.

And he's done sponsored videos with Nintendo and Best Buy. He's a relatively smart guy who knows something like this will get him a bump in views, and he gets to hang out in New York City with friends and fans for a week and a half.

the salt is real in this topic met the guy in person he is a very cool guy and a super passionate nintendo fan. Also since he did the waiting in lien for switch he has since then been invited to attend pax east, Nintendo invited him to E3 and he gets invites now to Nintendo press events so good for him.
