Jim Sterling launched a new show, Commentocracy

He'll have plenty of material reading PC gamers posts on here ;) One of them claiming migraines so bad they had to be rushed to hospital from playing a console game at 30fps has to be one of the best I've seen.

I loved that video despite going off Jim for the past year because of the same topics being recycled all the time. This however is great, as is his costume!!
Lol I remember that post

I liked this bit

The way he shakes while backing away is brillant

Not sure how I feel about it. Pretty funny right off the bat, but then started to wear on me a bit early. I mean, four minutes felt rather long. Still, I think something is there and I bet Jim'll refine it as he goes along. I'm in for another at least.

Also, I am reminded that I sometimes feel a bit embarrassed by liking DS as much as I do. Why must the internet ruin things?!?

He'll have no shortage of material on Gaf. Just visit that old thread where people were up in arms about putting an easy mode in Soulsborne games. Or the one where some would rather that people with disabilities not play console video games than to be allowed to do it with different input systems than controllers.

Jim continues to signal boost low quality and toxic content (just like him highlighting garbage steam games). I'm just tired of all these gaming personas that exclusively promote negativity. No thanks.

It's satire. Hopefully the people that made these comments might become a tad more self aware and see how ridiculous their opinions are.

I hoped to see that PUBG post of how a Xbox adaptation would never work because gamepad and the inherent complexity of the game which would lose its essence...

As I said in the other thread, I like this bit more than his regular stuff. The argument over if someone is hardcore is such a gradeschool pissing match. I basically never play crpgs, but I've been playing tons of PC engine games recently. Am I hardcore (or more importantly, do I care)?

I want this link right the fuck now lol

That was funny and entertaining.
But would be nice, if he could do something about the sound. It's quite painful / annoying when he yells, because of that.

Guessing the sound sucked because the hastily threw up the greenscreen in his garage instead of tearing down the regular Jimquisition set. I'm confident he's aware of this and is probably working on a long term solution.

But if we let casuals get their own games next they'll be wanting rights and respect as if they were people or something!

It's a good bit but I don't think I could 8-minute cringe once a week without breaking my face a bit.

I can't stand Jim when he's in that character, but I wish him the best, the idea for the series is fun and I do enjoy regular Jimquisitions.

uncanny how well the comments fit with this persona! Jim did it extremely well.

I would very much like to see more of this grandiose presentation. by lord hardcore.

Eh, I don't personally find laughing at stupid opinions on the internet funny, even with an elaborate costume design. They're just too common for me, they're not 'unexpected', if you can see what I mean.

Also not a fan of the "you're lying if you say you get migraines from something that you're not used to" posts in this thread, as if that's somehow not possible. PC gamers used to 60fps, high FOVs and mouse aiming can get motion sick if they're faced with the opposite of those, I can't see how that's elitist.

I feel like this could get old quick if he does it too much. I mean, I like the character and I loved the Jimquisition segments he did with him but doing a whole show centered around him might not be the best idea. We'll see, I guess.

I think my favourite Jim character is the Cockney/London one he used (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) around the lawsuit but this one is great too. Enjoyed that.
